that would require a platform to land on and then it would need to be put onto a launching platform somehow with limited people on the moon. then maintenance + inspection on the moon with limited people. this also doesn’t take into account all of the test launches we would need to do from the moon before a real launch would even be possible.

Tbf, we handed on the moon and relaunched without a platform before.

Obligatory recommendation to try disc golf if you've got any baseball background. All the same pros of golf you mention, but slightly more forgiving, less time consuming, less snooty, and if you can throw a baseball you can throw a disc (forehand)
