  1. Ive just had mine put in 2 days ago and im in horrible pain and im so scared its goimg to be like this forever and there are so few positive stories

  2. They 100% have a right to be uncomfortable by this - he’s been a teenager he can apply empathy. I wouldn’t have stayed at my aunts as a teenager if her husband did this and you should let them know that they are valid in their discomfort it was weird - what if they slept in underwear?

  3. YTA - YOU have a niece also - what is your beef with a child who had an abusive parent??? Have you ever considered thats why your husband dotes on her???

  4. I was gonna say, WHEN she dumps him? She’s getting a job and staying with her mother. I’d call that giving notice.

  5. She quiet quit the relationship 😂😂😂

  6. Dude for real. Proud bonus mama here, and only been one for the last 8 months. We aren't even married and my mother has already purchased more gifts for those kids than anyone else lmao My parents had leeway for a few months to not meet the babies but it was purely because we all knew how fast they would latch onto them once they did and so the wait was just to make sure my boyfriend and I were serious. I would have thrown a fit if my family ever did something like this.

  7. NTA - im sorry your nephew’s mum hasn’t bothered to learn how to take care of his hair :(

  8. Right they’re an absolute mastermind!!!!! Fair bloody play - the USA’s medical system makes me anxious as I know that my birth alone and child hood illness would have bankrupted my mu m!

  9. NTA - im white with a loose wave to my hair and I know that retwists especially on afro textured hair require very specific products, you can’t retwist just with curling cream and I cant get my hair to stay without gel. It also speaks out that in all the years of being in a family with black people she has not learned how to care for your hair and that’s frustrating! A non-black person can’t tell a black person how to do their hair that isnt disrespect thats just how it is. If you use twitter theres a much bigger Community of mixed race kids that feel that cultural disconnect on the mums side (when they’re not black) - what you’re navigating is bigger than what you’re said Imo the response should have been a raised eyebrow at the sass and then … no im not, send a pic of the leave-in you need

  10. Soft YTA they could be menopausal- I didn’t get it until I saw my mum flushing, its very uncomfortable and feels like boiling for the inside out, yes fans help but a temperate climate works better and you could easily wear light layers

  11. NTA - im from the UK too and think your parents are in the wrong!! im really pleased that your babu dad had a change of heart but absolutely hold off of double barreling the names until his proven himself a steady parent.

  12. YTA - I used to think people could be swayed by cooking better versions of foods my bf didn’t like (only foods I loved so we could have them together) but I quickly learned that there are some things he simply doesn’t like - and I have the same, cannot stand carbonara and want to vom thinking about it, he hates mash - you can’t make people eat what they don’t like. She compromised and it wasnt good enough.

  13. My god if you think you need to be on a watchlist for SA then you are definitely the problem ☠️

  14. Clearly not he is missing that it’s largely for herself and her partner lmao

  15. Enh, to be fair, its at a whole different level in "pimp and hoe, drug dealing glorification" style rap which is very very very prevalent in mainstream rap. Thats not excusing many bad examples, its just saying the scale and prevalence are on a completely different level.

  16. The song content is different yes and certainly can be outwardly more extreme but culturally rock is seen as socially acceptable even when it has sexist undertones, Brown Sugar by the rolling stones??? Fetishizing women of colour and sleazy, She’s only 18 by the RHCP?!?? Sooooo creepy!!! Even recently MGK singing Emo Girl yes its fun but why is a grown ass man aligning himself with what is quite clearly the teen end of the sub-culture? And the whole culture of rock groupies being young - its still insidious.

  17. YTA - at 16yo you can start to learn to cook if you no longer be courteous too the person making your dinner

  18. I think this is fair, the left has a skater skirt like as opposed the the tube skirt on right - I wouldn’t be able go freehand that without ref lol !

  19. YTA - one year olds don’t remember their birthday you could have moved the party ffs please go to therapy before you project this all on your child :)

  20. “We all dropped out of highschool” - always found it strange that kids can opt out of school in the USA! Parents have to go to court if children repeatedly don’t show up for school and you need to be in education until your 18 via college or apprenticeship

  21. I was never bought to funerals as a child (uk) and im very glad, I wouldn’t have understood the adult’s emotions or the fact that theres a sad dinner party afterwards- thats not to be crude - but thats what a wake is to a child they don’t understand and idk - I think you should take this time to grieve your nan with your family and feel your emotions rather than having to cater to your child - they can lay flowers another time

  22. NTA - you’re a wonderful husband, my mum an got cancer and this post reopened the gates - I can’t imagine giving birth and not having my mum there, your poor wife must be heartbroken. I hope time is kind to her and she is able to grow around the grief

  23. NTA - but seperate finances for children isn’t going to work it already isn’t and 11 year olds don’t need to absorb money issues

  24. Did a climate activist setting fire to himself and dying in protest make headlines ??

  25. Taking it out on art isn’t going to get a message across, if anything it will turn people away. Effective protest is getting public sympathy and encourage to listen which protesters won’t get by either acting stupid or annoying people.

  26. People wanted women to dance around getting rights they criticised the suffrage movement and only considered women of value when across the world women had to man the front whilst men were at war and people didnt like that POC wanted rights, they wanted them to be quiet and complacent with injustice and the same with LGBTQIA+ - actually they just want the oppressed to stay oppressed, no one gives a fuck when David Attenborough says anything and he’s a national treasure so when will people give a fuck?

  27. Literally this - its exactly what my dad would have done so he got cut off from my higher education as I wasn’t giving him bragging rights

  28. Why didn't you go to the ceremony when your daughter called about your tickets?

  29. Because hes butt hurt the girl graduating didn’t “make the time” to call herself even though she was obvs getting her cap & gown sorted and saying hi to classmates -

  30. Im so sorry that your dads so hung up on a kid that isn’t in your life - hes not listening to your wishes and for some reason he needs your ex who you knew as a teenager at his wedding - truly baffling
