  1. If you stop your baby will be perfectly fine. As I was told once “have you ever had a doctor ask if you were breastfeed? No.”

  2. I travelled with my baby at just over 6 months. I breast feed her at take off and landing, so she didn’t get sore ears. The only time she cried was when she and I were too hot on the plane, but is was also summer. If you are too hot ask the flight attendants for ice, they were very kind to me. If I had a do over would have a ziplock handy to put the ice and on my neck. Ziplock bags can be so handy.

  3. Move to Saskatchewan where they don’t change time. 😆

  4. Try reading the article, there is very strong evidence she was born and raised by her Italian American family near Boston not adopted at all and threatened her family with law suits to keep them quiet.

  5. Me too! Went in the summer, went to sleep in full light woke up in full light. The hotel has great blackout blinds lol.

  6. Thanks for the reply, my wife is not keen on the Citizenship, that being said, can she come on a tourist visa and not work while my child comes on the child visa?

  7. No, not too late yet. You just have to live in Australia for two years before your child is an adult.

  8. You can save a little by adding the child to the spouse visa. (Doing this with my husband and our child, same situation as you)

  9. Explain to me like I’m five. Why does the premium on risk go up if there’s parts supply chain or inability to repair issues? How does charging the insured more help those things?

  10. Because they have to pay for the hire car as you wait for your car to get fixed but it isn’t getting fix for X long because no parts are available.

  11. And reception is tiny! What if they get sent a package? In favour of having more storage?

  12. Hm. I guess you gotta define "all your day to day needs", but: I live on 7th St closeish to Circle and I'm walking distance from a grocery store (well, more than one, but really only one close enough to lug groceries back from), at least 3 pharmacies, at least 2 clinics, a mall, several fast food options, mini golf (who could live without that, right?) two schools and the big ol park between them, and am adjacent to, let's be honest, the ONLY bus line in the city with an acceptable frequency of pickup. As far as I know this is the only convenient place to live for a person who doesn't drive and unless I finally get out of this city I don't see myself ever leaving this area again.

  13. Briarwood isn’t prefect for walkability but it really is surprisingly good for a suburban area. We live toward the south end and when working from home didn’t drive much. We have even walked to Costco with the stroller. We are close to two styles of park, walking distance to the library, indoor pool, grocery store, bank and restaurants.

  14. It's a nice neighbourhood , but yes, no schools, it's very car dependent with poor transit service. The east side of area borders train tracks so they can be loud at times.

  15. But Briarwood is walking distance to a grocery store, we often walk to get groceries. Unlike when we lived downtown and Nutana doesn’t have the extra foods anymore.

  16. What do you think parents do if they are expecting another child? They make plan for the siblings to be taken care of ahead of time.

  17. It wasn’t my MIL (love her so awesome) it was my FIL.

  18. For sure they did not, because the ETA application would have been returned as invalid if they did.

  19. I have travelled to Australia without an Australian passport or my proof of citizenship, just my Canadian passport. My sisters have also travelled the same way. But I next time I go I will have both 🙂

  20. Its like that as an anti-homelessness measure plus some good old fashioned racism. Same reason why the seats have been taken away from the bus stops on Brunswick St between St. Pauls Tce. and the mall.

  21. Vinegar, it will dissolve minerals build up.

  22. That is a great suggestion thanks, would definitely make it easier for us

  23. Do the WHV, we would go that route except with have a baby now so can’t. Good luck!

  24. How long after applying are bridging visas handed out? If she has 3 months for a tourist visa and applies for the 189/190 asap could it really take 3 months?

  25. It will LIKELY take MORE that three months for the 189/190. Husband (fully qualified engineer in Canada) has been waiting longer than that to get an invite. He had 95 points (just turned 33). We are planning now to apply for the spouse visa.

  26. Okay so he's a wingnut but other than a shit ton of cash, what's the gain here? A return of a non-existent reputation? A return to the job in ward 1 that he already has? A way to show the ex that what she did in reporting him, if malicious, was actually going to monetarily help him so he'd end up getting the last laugh? In a day and age of immense empathy for the mentally or physically challenged, there should have been no shame in what happened if legit. If not, then he should also be sueing his ex. Or is he just that off kilter that he doesn't realize he is or was having an episode or he's that devious that he knows but he's going to try to fool the system and take it to the cleaners?

  27. Just fyi, Darren is gay. His ex is a man not a woman.

  28. I do have a car so transportation isnt an issue. Several people recommended kijiji but its not showing up on my app store. I have no idea why

  29. Phone might be too old, happened to my dad. Couldn’t update anymore.

  30. Op, this may not be as bad as it looks if someone just forget to cut out for a vent. If it is not for a vent then it is very bad.

  31. What about future life changes? Do you want children? I would try running the numbers for child care/stay at home parent if you are thinking you want kids.

  32. Where I'm from out west, we sarcastically refer to Toronto as "the center of the universe"

  33. They don’t think people exist in other time zones so they book meetings at your noon.

  34. Honourable mention to the phantom traffic jam that occurs daily on the Attridge on-ramp heading South. WHY ARE WE STOPPED?!

  35. People slow down before the camera and it reverberates up the road

  36. Switch the stove and sink and move the window over the sink. Then they can look outside when washing dishes.
