I'm a storyteller simmer, who does rotational play. I usual focus on about 10-12 related households. The world I have now, I think I'm on the 5th generation. I use extra long lifespan (mccc mod). I also like the occults.
Any tips on how to use MCCC to improve rotational play? It drives me crazy that if I return to a household after a couple weeks, no one got promoted or gained new skills etc.
There were some signing events last week in Sedalia and Warrensburg so now you'll have to go to Columbia or KC. Unfortunately Missouri only allows wet signature petitions, nothing can be signed online.
Boring. I can’t help but create happy, loving homes. Sometimes I’ll throw in a hot-headed or mean Sim but they always annoy me and I stop playing them or move them out.
I like the traits too. I’m curious how often folks change traits. Sometimes I’ll get a story going and h the sim will dislike fitness when I just had them join the fitness career. I usually go with the change and alter the storyline even if it is inconvenient. It feels like cheating to change what they’ve decided they like and dislike.
You have a traditional dress with untraditional styling. It doesn’t feel natural. I would say a more casual dress, no glitter -maybe bohemian and flowy sleeves would work better. Pretty much I’d look for a Viking warrior dress.
This may have more to do with you living so far apart and the way life changes around the time people get married (new careers, kids, friends etc) and how people naturally drift apart.
I also workout a lot, definitely been eating a whole lotta potatoes. I had some parsnips for dinner tonight, air fried, made a nice difference. But yeah I really like the baby potatoes sliced and cooked in a skillet with steak, onion, peppers and eggs. Or twice baked Mexican potatoes made with ground turkey, those were so good.
Have you ever looked at Azazie? They're an app that is commonly used for bridesmaid dresses but they have bridal dresses as well. They have an at home try on program where you get 3 dresses for $30, and you have one week to send them back. The shipping label is included in the box. There are loads of options online. Their dresses are like $300-600 to actually purchase and they do custom sizing for free.
I’ve been trying for a few weeks to get some dresses to try on with no luck. I sign up for the waitlist, they tell me it is available and then I go to order (within a few minutes of said email) and it is still out of stock. I’m not sure if I should just order a different color but I’m trying to do a white bridesmaids dress for my wedding dress so I’d really rather do white.
I think the real draw to the eclipse is that for a brief moment everything and everyone just seems to stop and all admire the beauty of the world, which is extremely rare nowadays. No politics or the exponential amount of craziness that is this world in the present time. A moment of peace where somehow we're all on the same page. It's truly an event and I wish we could realize more that we're all of us are in this together. Then we return to our rat race for the pleasure and entertainment of our billionaire overlords.
And it’s really difficult to capture with a cell phone camera so people aren’t even on their phones. It was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had 7 years ago.
I usually have a club for personal friends, and a club for extended family, as a quick way to invite everyone over. Modifying their behavior with club activities is a plus.
My sims literally never leave the house except for school or work. It’s a problem I keep telling myself I’ll fix but the minute they get invited out somewhere I’m always like…well I’m in the middle of something so no or just can’t be bothered to decide to do it in my own.

Used to have it in Sims 1, all plants were so fickle and died on me constantly and flies would gather, lol.

Why not DIY it? You could buy new or second hand drapery and add a custom

I wish I could send them and then stay at home with another sim. I usually accept the invite then hop right back home.
It takes so long for them to get around the house. Always wandering upstairs for some reason.
