  1. These lasers seem dangerously close to the crowds eyeline. Isn't that the literal one rule about lasers, don't point them near peoples eyes?

  2. I am a tech manager at a music venue that uses lasers, as long as you set the output of the lasers to the legal maximum then you can point them directly into the crowd (at least in the UK you can anyway). But even then best not look directly into them and if they fire directly into your camera lenses it can still fuck it up! Never look into laser or point your camera at them folks!

  3. I have worked in 1000 cap - acadamy sized venues for the last 10 years. I can't think of a single time where I havent just taken a direct out only from a bass amp (especially for support). It really makes no difference with bass (in my humble opinion). The way I look at it is, give me your direct signal and let the six SB218's act as your cab.

  4. I've never felt more spiritually and emotionally connected to an animal I don't know.

  5. Congratulations on having one of the best tattoos I've ever seen. Please leave it as it is, this is the ignorance style at its finest.

  6. so who owns vice currently? interesting read btw!

  7. Im a sound engineer, I can confirm that master and slave is used throughout the industry. We also call ends of audio cables male and female and converters sex changers. As you can imagine there are those within the industry pushing to change these names.

  8. Why am I looking a photo of a military jacket with a hat floating above it?

  9. Because there are a lot of religious fundamentalists in conspiracy circles

  10. I come from a family of ardent atheists and have never believed in or followed the teachings of any religion, but I know that "Satanist" groups as are described in some conspiracies (excluding Q BS) do exist. Satanism is a very broad term for a collection of disparate groups who believe in and practice a very wide range of archaic and esoteric beliefs. Just because the church of satan and its teachings is the only group most people have ever heard of dosen't mean it is the only one and the only set of beliefs and rituals being practiced. When people refer to Satanists in these conspiracies, they are referring to much older, well established groups, who are more secretive, nefarious and practice much darker rituals. These rituals sometimes include the sacrifice of living creatures, be that humans or animals and even sometimes the consumption of flesh. A lot of said groups (or at least their teachings) were established in Europe in the time of the crusades, but the teachings and practices stretch back into ancient pre-history. As long as human civilizations have existed, there have always been highly secretive and selective groups who teach esoteric knowledge and practice some form of ritual magic.

  11. But the older groups always seem to be determined to be “Jews” from what I’ve seen from some of these whack jobs.

  12. There are plenty of researchers out there offering non-alien/woo theories for these anomalies. Essential we are a species with amnesia, we are missing an epoch of history where advanced ancient civilisations co-existed with the hunter gatherers we are taught are all that existed. This is one of many pieces of evidence of lost technology from deep pre-history.

  13. There is a clear deliniation between the Mayan era construction and the structures that existed in the same location from an earlier epoch, the Mayans built ontop of these earlier megalithic structures and incorporated them into there buildings. You can clerly see highly advance quarrying and construction techniques below and crude simplistic Mayan construction on top. The same can be said for numerous locations around central and south America, Europe, The Middle East, Africa and Asia. Many of the same advanced building techniques can be observed in all of these locations, pointing to not only an advanced civilization but also a globally connected community.

  14. Whoa! That’s wild. Thank you for the heads up. I would’ve thought it’d be fine for any train that day.

  15. This is just the way, it is always drums, bass, guitars, keys, any other instruments (horns etc) then vocals (stage right to left and always drum vocal last). It is the industry standard. Plus drums is always Kick in Kick out snare top snare bot (snare 2 or timb) High hats rack’s floors’s overheads

  16. You dont need to include the low pass section for the bass ( leave it to whoever is mixing to make that decision ). Also a channel list and mons cheat sheet would be helpful. That is all.

  17. Man...this is a deep cut. Good thing West knew the terrain at this particular angle and height.

  18. I would say that we probably find it as offensive as Americans who get called septics (septic tank - Yank) by us. Not very offensive at all.
