I am psure this change would get rolled back or there will be severe legal consequences for it. I mean Unity will pretty much be dead if they double down on it since they are asking big giants like Microsoft, nintendo to give money instead of devs and i dont think they will let it slide.
We’re a tiny team, deep in the development of our game with no chance of switching engine without basically killing the project. The situation is indeed a bit distressing, but currently everything is very heated and I hear a lot of doom and gloom coming from shocked Unity devs these days. And while I understand the frustration, I’m trying to stay relaxed and wait what the next days and weeks will bring. I have a hard time imagining Unity is just gonna try to plow through the community’s concerns; there are just too many big names who are threatening to switch engine to ignore. Let’s see how things pan out…
It sucks to think about and deal with regardless, but if you get to 200k installs you are most likely experiencing a good success. The fee won't break your prospects unless you're gunning for a sub 5 $ price point. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself to keep sane. But to me it seems a bit early to tell how bad it is, it all depends on how it shakes out with their 'proprietary' counting.. It sucks to have our game coming out at the start of next year to be apart of the first trials though. Wish me luck

Outlast 2 Story was way better imo, Jessica's story was just heartbreaking, But the gameplay of the first game was better
