It’s a shame because Kendrick showed Lupe a lot of love when he was getting started and said lupes music had a huge impact and influence on him, damn near all the other TDE dudes like schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad and ab soul all have said they’re influenced by him and instead of sitting back and being content Lupe chooses to be bitter. Makes no sense
How Kendrick should respond right now is not a full diss track, but a feature calling him out for leaking but not actually releasing, but as a subtle shot without explicitly naming Drake. Kendrick needs to bait Drake to come out in the open for a fair match.
Kind of bored by the fact that everything he drops has to have some sort of gimmick. Feels like he could've had a much bigger career in music if he just released the odd cohesive and "traditional" project every now and then.
