it's been about 8 months since I let my dog go to sleep, she was my best friend and such a unique dog and definitely the one i'll remember for the rest of my life. it takes a long time to feel okay thinking about them without tearing up, i'm tearing up writing this out now haha but I remember her so fondly now. I'm sure you'll get to that point too, I'm sure you took great care of your friend and they loved you as much as you loved them
