It's a pretty fancy hotel with multiple bars and restaurants inside. I've never had a bad meal there. You're within walking distance of most of the stuff downtown. Just know it's going to be cold and probably raining so dress accordingly.
I don't know how recently you ate there, but my husband and I ate lunch there in the main floor restaurant about a month ago and it was pretty disappointing. Our meals were both pretty expensive, but neither seemed worth the cost. I could have made the exact same things at home, much better, for a fraction of the cost.
