Specs-wise they say Cat6 can only do 10GbE up to like 55m, whereas Cat6A does it up to 100m...but generally-speaking most of the Cat6 you're likely to get can absolutely do 10GbE up to 100m. If I'm buying a spool today it's going to be Cat6A.
Give up hope. My town had Optimum/Altice perform the upgrade 2 years ago. There are 3 major developments in town all with buried utilities and none of them have been upgraded. No ETA, no plan. I'm about to go lay my own fiber through the woods to the street behind my home.

I gave 2k down and dealer gave me 1300 back after the deal closed. A net deposit of $700.
To add on to this, if you received a newer processor (last few months) be sure to update the firmware as the igmp querier was enabled all the time. A recent firmware update fixes this.

To reinforce, cat7 is a standard. It was ratified a long time ago, it's just not standardized anywhere in usage.

CPO CX-90 ex-loaners are available for just a bit more than a 22 or 23 CX-9 in my area. It’s really a wash on year newer and $2-5k price delta.

I think OPs calculations, while displayed, didn't actually factor in the $7500 ev credit. That's the only thing that makes sense here.
