I have no Liverpool players and used my only transfer on Tarkowski. Should I go Mitro-> Darwin, Andreas -> Gakpo or Neco->Trent for -4? Or just leave it? I have 11 on the field, but that includes Mitro, Neco and Ward. No money for Salah. Leaning on Darwin atm.

Last gameweek I had nearly decided to get Ødegaard, but didn’t after reading all the advices against him at this sub. Got really frustrated when he scored and got 8 points. Then happy again when Gallagher was still on my team and got me 15 points! I don’t really know the moral of this story.
I am in a simular situation, OR 43K and 29 behind in one of my two mini leagues. 75 points lead in the other. I will take massive risks and go all in for the first ML! I even have Kane on the bench, as my opponent have him. Have Salah, but will not captain him. Before his transfers we only have Salah and TAA in common. Will probabaly be my worst two hours ever on sunday...
I really like these posts, very motivating! Top 10K is my goal, and has been within reach since early December. I've feel very unlucky with captaincy and transfers since then, but somewhat survived and now at 20K. Apparently just 20 tiny points from 10K, and still seven players left for this GW. I only got my WC chip left, so I have to play my very best (and be lucky as well) for the next five GWs.
So far this seems very manageable, even without using chips. Most people will probably have 3 MCI players, and close to a full 11 of "likely" DW26 players (from MCI, LIV, AVL, TOT, MUN, LEE, SOU). 3 LEE players and 4 other BGW29 players on bench will give you a head start, with a rollover transfer you got 4 transfers and a full BGW29 squad. Of course, the team will be a total mess from GW30, so a wildcard may come in handy after all.
Without subs it really can’t be compared to anything. I got 36 points myself, but additionally 26 from the bench (Bamford/Cresswell/Dallas). I guess most real teams will use bench players this GW.
83 with 10 players left, 7 points from bench. Have 5 single game players (sou/lee), just using BB to be finished with it. At least they all play, with Johnstone as a possible exception.
Reddit is my main source of information, but I also use FFscout, FFfix and Twitter for different purposes. I always rely on the most important information find its way to this sub. Earlier seasons I found myself trapped in the group and template thinking of this sub, but lately I'm doing better just using the input to make my own decisitions.

As someone who watched almost every Liverpool match this season (yeah, its been painful) and looking at your team, I'd probably pick Darwin as well.

I was going Vardy->Ronaldo, but now I’m starting to think MUN may have a BGW with covid, while Leicester and a rested Vardy will meet a weak Spurs.
