I traveled both on evisa and on regular Visa to Russia. So, if you want to visit Russia for less than 16 days, get the evisa. C'est plus simple. And you get the results in 4 days after the application. Check my others post on my experience of traveling with an evisa.

On the other hand I'm not local and I'm not necessarily looking for locals in a nigh club. All I'm interested in is good music and good party haha. So far, after spending a bit of time here, it's failing 🤣
I'm not going to judge your traveling style but me personally whenever I'm visiting a foreign place a always look for where the locals are hanging out.

Why though? Russia is issuing Visas. It's even easier to obtain one through their e-visa scheme!
