When you're in California and billboards in your town tell you to take shorter showers to conserve water. Then you find out 97% of the town's water supply is used to grow almonds. Why do I even try? What's the point? The list of "do this" and "do that" to save the world keeps growing, but the people with the only share of responsibility that could actually make any difference never change shit.
I had a parent tell us we couldn’t have the kids paint garden rocks at an outdoor school event because the paint flakes off the rocks and goes into our soil and that’s why we all have microplastics in our bodies.
💯. Ever since I’ve became me a mom I’m terrified of everything. I hate flying, I hate late walks, I hate crowded public places. I have this inexplicable fear of something happening to me and my child having to grow up without a mom. Just this morning I saw a post on Reddit about the mom and baby who got stabbed in a mall in Sydney and I’m devastated.
I started a new job right after my mom died and I didn’t tell anyone. I was a little distracted and scatterbrained (rightfully so) and I wish I would’ve just been upfront about it. People will give you more grace and you need it, whether or not you think you do.
Aside from your personal discomfort, having just birthed a human, newborns don’t fully develop their immune system until 2/3 months so that is why I would be cautious about exposing my baby too much during that time.
I dunno. Sounds like you are projecting your relatively light struggles onto people that have worse struggles and saying "why don't you have an easier time, have you considered applying yourself?"
Idk OP provided two examples where he struggles and you kind of assumed that was it. I see your point but in the chance that OP has some wisdom to share which might help, perhaps ask a question and create an opportunity for learning.
Thank you for your words. I'm not sure how much wisdom I have, but I do have nearly six decades of dealing with Aspergers, and I've learned to embrace as much of it as I can.
Well I may reach out to you myself some time in the future with questions of my own. My 4 year old was diagnosed with Asperger’s and if I see someone that has made a good life for themselves despite the setbacks, well then I’m willing to hitch my wagon to their star, so to speak:)
We potty trained at age 3 and a few months. He just wasn’t ready prior to that. Once we started he caught on in no time. It was the easiest transition!
It was a defensive driving technique back when I took drivers ed many years ago. Prevents you from being pushed into traffic in case you’re rear-end, and also helps you avoid being rear-ended if someone is not stopping.
This might make you feel better- my son turned into a monster just before his third birthday. And he was a monster for almost a year. That part might not make you feel better. But after a year of the craziness he just settled into a regular kid who only broke down sometimes. Around 4 is when your life will feel normal again….if it’s anything like our experience.
4 for me!

I have become haggard, yes. I had mine at 40 so I went from being able to pull off 35 STRAAAIGHT to looking 47.
I love love love the first one!
Jesus Christ.

I think people are just hyper-sensitive to text scammers. You did nothing wrong.
1st one is sexy and adorable at the same time
46, but yeah.
But it says 46 members and 5 paid members?? So the 46 aren’t paying?
The original owner of that coin wants his skin back.
I’m not sure which is worse tbh
I think shoes on would’ve been worse.

That we were on a break.

No nepotism but my sister and I are both actors.

Young, delusional, arrogant.
Dress 1 is better. It slims your bust area whereas dress 2 accentuates it.
I thought this old man had a 20yr old in his lap.
