Maxine Water's Report yesterday revealed the DTCC waived $9.7B the morning of Jan 28, 2021, spread out between 6 firms. Robinhood was $2.2B/$9.7B, which means 5 other CEOs were awoken at 3AM like Vlad with a massive margin charge. 5 companies divided by the remainder $7.5B is an average $1.5B each.

Logical thinking: it is now 100% clear they’ll waive every rule, margin call etc to prevent this. Brokers will restrict again and not be held accountable. Fuck them. I’m willing to bet the 170k+ apes who have already DRS’d, still own enough additional shares in brokerages, to lock the float. +550

  1. Okay here’s a counter. Please, I’m not a shill so don’t be too hard. GameStop is a publicly traded company. If we lock the float or even the total O/S shares, won’t GME have to issue more shares, ie an offering, to provide liquidity for the stock?

  2. It was often used as a FUD theory that GME would be delisted due to illiquidity - but how would that work? A share could then never reach 100% of being bought out and iirc that has never been put down as a law so… ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  3. I know some people fuss about using we, but honestly how is a collective of individuals sharing information and making their own decisions on investing any different from a bank who collects billions of dollars from investors and makes decisions on behalf of their collective. To me, the bank example is more collusion than any thing you see on this Reddit group.

  4. Actually while „we“ talk about „us“ it just makes it easier to talk about „our“ discussions etc. anyone here is making his/her own decisions based on his/her own knowledge - it’s not like we’re deciding something together as a single entity besides bets and bans (damn I still didn’t see Rick of spades vid until today…)

  5. Swippity swooty DRSing now is a dooty! Updoot for visibility!

  6. Swippity swooty DRSing now is a dooty! Updoot for visibility!

  7. Oh no that poor Bitpanda dude. He needs to get out of their but as far as I know it’s like eToro. Have an account there too from when I started gambling some crypto. That makes me sad :(

  8. There were no margin calls waived, jfc. Learn the difference between a margin call and collateral for settlement. Read the fucking report. Use a dictionary. Hedgefunds lost money, they had nothing waived.

  9. LOL still repeating yourself telling GME guys they can continue to buy bags as you said yesterday multiple times?🤣 the meltdowner is strong in this one

  10. Just fits perfectly to the tons of requests I get to join some telegram group to discuss stocks. Most accounts have nearly no or only little post / comment history. What stands out is that some of those actually have posts in r gme and r superstonk. Pretty sus and perfectly fits those twitter bots who lure you to some discord Server as it seems?

  11. Ken swore, under oath, "let me be perfectly clear" That absolutely NO ONE from any of his organizations had talked with Robin Hood. He told this lie directly to a Congressman who set him up for perjury with the question "Would every one of your employees say that if I question all of them?"

  12. Organization - singular, not plural - das used by the congressmen or who ever he was. So technically if he asked if they could ask anyone within „your“(=kens) organization, it was imho not clear if they talked about citadel advisors llc or citadel securities llc or am I wrong?

  13. Ken owns Citadel outright (or did at the time) so he IS the company. Fuck you, Ken Griffin

  14. Not legally - legally is the owner / CEO but that makes what the company does as an own entity and what he does two totally different things

  15. He wrote in his book that he "liked GameStop" as well. Sounds like he was paper handing

  16. But this was from about 2006 - which Leads me to the thought of someone having this stock analyzed and look if you could somehow find the same pattern we do find today. For AMC and Cramer: he wanted new non Reddit people to buy and then dump it. 1.) let enough new and clueless people buy amc 2.) route just enough orders to lit to let the price raise a bit 3.) open new shorts 4.) hammer it down and profit off of those new shorts 5.) you just killed a bit of FOMO - people did not have a clue about AMC, bought because of hype and then „even Cramer pushed it!!“ - people lose money and will never touch AMC again

  17. Question. This may be a stupid question but when you DSR your shares...when you go to sell it what's the process?

  18. It’s not stupid at all. If you want to sell you login to Computershare and place a sell order - that’s it :)

  19. I was hearing a bunch of FUD. I am With Fidelity and will be switching to Comptershare tomorrow. I heard all I have to do is call and they will transfer. Thanks!

  20. Right - and yes there have been lots of wave of FUD. Whatever question you have - just feel free to ask! Knowledge is what makes us strong!

  21. Op excellent point - if robinhood WASNT connected to a lit exchange , then this actually proves that there was no way for retail to affect the price of gme as it was rising , right? So doesn’t this further give evidence towards basket shorts theory and the fact that that run was a not caused by retail as many media have shown ?

  22. Don’t wanna FUD here - but if retail orders never actually made a difference in price and it’s rising - wouldn’t they than use this to „proof“ that pride rising was from the shorts covering / closing? I mean we all know they never closed - but they would spin it that way right? „See - when you buy it doesn’t matter and we rob you this way - BUT it also proofs we gabe evil institution man a slap on the wrist and he closed!!!“

  23. Definitely go with DRS imho - Non financial advise as I am not a financial advisor.

  24. Man I really wished that they had all of this here in Germany :(

  29. It's just so messed up that you don't actually own the shares that you "own". The whole system is broken

  30. Absolutely - I can’t even thing of many of even any similar example from the real world

  31. Automobile Deposit Trust Corporation - man I love it. Thanks for the laugh! No back to being angry because the whole system is a scam

  32. When do they lose there infinite money glitch? From what I see nothings happening and I’m getting tired of it.

  33. Probably never - but by us removing their possibilities to use their infinite money against the stock we like makes that unimportant - stay strong!

  34. Who actually is the transfer agent for towelstock?

  35. Swippity swooty DRSing now is a dooty! Updoot for visibility!

  36. Literally can’t go tits up (again) ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  37. at this point we will have to wait and see. I guess let's not forget that he isn't the CEO and gamestop isn't his only play.

  38. Also it’s not just a „play“ for him. He bought in way before squeeze and stuff and I’m damn sure that he is on one hand trying to get rid of the shorts that attack the company he is trying to renew but on the other hand also trying to do just that: renew the company and make it a great one again. He saw something in GameStop which lead to his buy-in and his transformation plans - not the squeeze on the first hand.

  39. Swippity swooty DRSing now is a dooty! Updoot for visibility!
