  1. A note for the future, invest in some captive spacers. They allow you to pull the wheel off without the spacers falling out as they are designed to sit inside the wheel opening. Makes installing the wheel and sliding the axle bolt through so much easier, especially on the rear tire that you will be replacing more often than the front. I didn't have them on my first bike but they were one of the first things I bought for all other bikes.

  2. Do you know how many miles an mt09 averages per tank? I believe I was getting around 120-130 on the GSXR before the light came on. The gas mileage aspect is a bummer, but I do love the growl of the cp4.

  3. From what I have read around 150 miles before the light comes on, but I only ever test road one so I wasn't on it long enough to see what type of fuel economy it got.

  4. No problem. Good luck with your decision and ride safe :)

  5. I'm not gentle on my watches and have had 3 since the OG galaxy watch. I have used screen protectors on each bc I constantly bang it into things. I have broken about 6 of them, but never the screen. For the cost and piece of mind I think they are worth it. Plus you usually get multiple on a pack.

  6. Not on sapphire screens. You actually risk cracking the screen, and no screen protector is better than just the watch itself.

  7. I don't follow your comment. How do I risk cracking my screen when the screen protector cracks before it even touches the watch screen? I've been through many many screen protectors and have never cracked the screen. Also what do you mean by no screen protector is better than just the watch itself when the watch itself is the watch itself? Are you implying there is an alternative to a screen protector that is not the bare watch face?

  8. When was the last time you cleaned and lubed the chain?

  9. If it's not the chain you will have to pinpoint where the sound so coming from. Could be a million things. Hard to diagnose without seeing and hearing what is happening.

  10. Do yourself a favor and buy the ali express one. I did. It's literally the exact same thing down to the instructions but doesn't come in a box, for $37 shipped. I even painted mine to match my bike (tech black). Since it's not a lego it's not a crime right? Lol

  11. The link I used is no longer up but they all seem to be the same.

  12. Typically EPP (nurse and first responder) or AAA discount is the only way to get it on-sale. It's currently $770 on EPP, but not on sale with AAA discount.

  13. My guess is Oxtail. Or tail of a cow.

  14. I wasn't a fan at first but after owning one I can say they look much better in person. They still have some funny angles but overall I like the looks.

  15. I've been running the clear lamin-x on mine since I bought the bike in 2022. I heard mixed reviews about how they help with rock chips, but others say they trap the heat and cause cracking. I'm going on 2 years now with mine and have zero issues. Hardest part was cutting them out since the shape of the headlights are so odd. I like the yellow though, it's a nice touch.

  16. Might be a dumb question but do you pay for the premium plan on Disney + and Prime Video? Both charge extra now for Atmos.

  17. On content you own yes, but unless you pay $2.99 a month for ad free service they no longer give you atmos for free on things you stream.

  18. Slip on's do pretty much nothing on these bikes. The cat restricts all the noise. Remove it and get a good tune (2wdw). Night and day difference and the best mod you can do to these bikes.

  19. Perhaps if your going down a hill with full wind behind your back. That bike has 15 bph and 0 pull. More like 60 mph.

  20. I googled it as we don't have that bike in the US. Lol

  21. Hello. I know this thread is older. But thinking about the Q990C and where would get the discount with AAA? On Samsungs website? Or AAA website?

  22. If you google aaa Samsung, there is a page that has a link you click. It will prompt you to enter your first and last name and zip code. Once it validates it will take you to a special Samsung page. It's kind of a pain to find but well worth it.

  23. I use the Treatlife Ceiling Smart Fan controllers. The fans in our house were all wired to run a single switch and pull chain. These allow you to do both and also still work with no wifi as there are physical switches for the fan and light.

  24. I recently got QN85c and had q930b soundbar. Was pretty much deciding for the same thing and can honestly tell you that Q-Symphony should be turned off to feel more immersive content as it makes your center channel a bit too overwhelmed to notice surrounds, maybe in a bigger room it would feel different. Dolby vision is also not that big of a deal. The QN85c is a beast, got it for 950€ and would go for it again. 😉 P.s. I also had Sony nanoLED 9 class and Samsung feels a bit better.

  25. I have the qn85b with the q990c in a big room and you are correct the room size makes a difference when using q-symphony. Our room open to the kitchen so it's a rather large space and you can for sure tell when it is on or off. I prefer it on as it adds a little extra depth to the front channels (this could be due to the fact the soundbar and tv are mounted high) but honestly wouldn't be mad if I didn't have it at all.

  26. Given the amount of rust I would say fake as I think those are titanium from Akra. Placement also seems off as the Akra one is smaller and doesn't stick up as high.

  27. Some guys say it's fine but just like with modifying a car when you change something that directly affects the air fuel ratio you run the risk of possibly damaging the motor. Bikes already run lean for emissions and removing the cat will cause it to run even leaner. Yes the computer will compensate as much as it can, but at the end of the day is it really worth the risk of possibly hurting the motor on a brand new bike over a $300 tune? That's just my 2 cents.

  28. Yeah I completely agree I was just curious as I remember doing something similar with my 07 R1. Although I think I removed the air injection system on that as well and I didn't actually get it remapped so it was quite lumpy.

  29. I have a 22 MT-10 so I'm sure it's the same with the R1, but if you remove the cat and don't deal with the AIS and turn off decel fuel cut it will sound like a shotgun when you let off the gas. I took mine out before the tune with just exhaust installed and it was crazy loud on decel. I have since removed the AIS (block off plates) and had my bike tuned so it doesn't do that anymore. I'm also not sure if the r1 is like the mt10 but if you do the exup, you have to leave it plugged in (can just remove the cables going to the valve itself) or do a servo buddy or you lose cruise control. Again not sure if the r1 has cruise control or not so that might be a null point haha.

  30. I had a dream once that I opened a door in my house and the light came on. I then purchased a Smartthings hub and my dream became reality.

  31. Maybe I'm crazy lucky but I have had mine for about 3 years now and can count on one hand the number of outages. Mine is linked to Smartthings so maybe I just don't recognize the outage as I hardly ever log onto the Ecobee App.

  32. Don't buy a tv just for q symphony. It works OK but is not a game changer by any means.

  33. The physical headlights themselves are the same on the first gen and the second gen. I'm assuming you are wanting to add the headlight surrounds from the gen 1. If that is the case I imagine it's possible with some fab work but I don't think anyone has done it as the gen 1 parts won't just bolt on.

  34. The exhaust looks so good, I’m jealous. Mine came with an obnoxiously loud TOCE, every time I see one with an akra part of me dies a little

  35. I'm sorry you have to look at and hear the Toce exhaust everyday. I had one on my cbr600rr. Never again will I subject my ears to that amount of noise. The under tail looked nice ok the cbr but the look of the Toce on the mt10 just doesn't do it for me.

  36. Partzilla, air scoop, graphic and emblem are $120ish. My buddies bike fell into mine while transporting them so I already had to replace it on my 22.

  37. No problem. When you are looking for the correct diagram C is for California bikes, gy is grey and b is black.

  38. I always run 93 in mine. At 4.5 gallons the difference in cost between premium and regular is nothing.

  39. Weird though because a bunch of people online say the MT10 shifter was buttery after break in. That’s kinda what’s making me worried.

  40. At 2300 miles, yours is broken in. I went from a cbr to a Mt 10 and the transmission is not nearly as smooth as the cbr. It's not bad by any means but the Hondas for sure felt better, not as raw.

  41. I would go to a dealership and sit on a few bikes to see which one you fit better on. Although they won't have an R6. So far as a starter bike you can start on a 600 Supersport (I did) but it's generally not ideal as they are much less forgiving than your 400cc bikes. I am also 6 2 with a bigger build so I didn't fit well on smaller bikes. I wouldn't shy people away from going the Supersport route but it does take a mature and patient person to do so. If that is not you and you want a bike for pure speed and knee dragging then a Supersport is not the starter bike for you. Speed and skill will come with time. Don't rush the experience of learning to ride properly.
