  1. You could probably lose some weight, so could I. But get out of here with that "am I ugly" stuff, you are cute AF.

  2. I was actually thinking about this recently. If you think about it, a Reverend Mother's other memory is, essentially, a straight line, assuming that any female ancestors along the paternal lines are blocked off. So Jessica would have her maternal grandmother's Other Memory, but not her paternal grandmother's since her father is just this gaping void.

  3. Don't go darker. This is perfect. If you go darker, it will look better 70% of the time but it will look fake 30% of the time. That's my take anyway. Darker SMP looks great under the right lighting conditions but looks off under direct light etc.

  4. Glad you found it useful! I use Zero Shine but often don't bother. I kinda just live with it. It's not ideal but people don't really notice that much (that is, they don't really see it as weird)

  5. What’s up Jehan, thanks for the update. I’ve said it before but your posts are what made me pull the trigger on my SMP about a year and a half ago and I’m sure this video will have the same impact in someone else.

  6. The real tragedy is that ridiculously unintelligible sentence. I read it five times and had to read the comments to understand what they were on about.

  7. That looks great! I want it

  8. All of the photos im seeing is making me confident to get this done. I will be moving to Thailand soon and zi want to get SMP in U.S. before I go. I'm 47 years old. Wish I would have done this a long time ago. 🙏

  9. Nice! Make sure you find some examples online of what you are looking for and find a super experienced artist who has a history of doing that kind of look. I've found that this was what really helped me get it done right.

  10. Yeah, he would always avoid talking about his lyrics and how personal they were to him. Even whenever his bandmates asked what the lyrics meant, he just said it was some stupid joke. But there is a lot of stuff that is very resonant with him, like the constant references to suicide. He didnt like talking about that in interviews.

  11. It's also because talking about lyrics is hard. It's very easy to ruin the mystic of the songs. Unless you are extremely well-spoken and can make it sound more interesting with the explanation while still sounding like a grunge musician who doesn't care about anything and just feels raw emotions that normal people couldn't understand.

  12. Yeah but he was a style icon. I mean grunge to me - grunge truly in an image - is just not giving a fuck. Like Sid and Nancy, they stank, wore whatever, they didn’t give a fuck.

  13. I totally agree that he had a carefully made image. I just think that very few grunge people didn't care about image.

  14. This is cool, but don't take medical advice from a language model. Apart from contradicting itself a few times in this model, the problem with artificial consciousness (in general) is that they are unable to see the gestalt, thus it's really just a poor summation model.

  15. Yes! That is very true. I'll add that in the body. It's more a way of fossicking through the research in the knowledge base and isn't the same as talking to an expert.

  16. No worries at all! This was a rough version, I'll be revisiting it later and creating a better knowledge base so it has more concise information that has been curated a bit.

  17. This is great. Thanks for including the last photo, it gives folks a more realistic idea of what SMP looks like.

  18. I used to wonder that kind of thing. But then I realised she's very rich and can probably buy as many eggs as she wants. If she doesn't have any eggs left, then she's either a vegan or someone who doesn't like eggs.

  19. I got this question yesterday. It's really on us to figure out what the team needs to move forward. I create different artefacts at different points in time but it depends on the team.

  20. During the interview, they highlighted an issue where providers occasionally run out of stock, leading to delivery challenges. They tasked me with proposing a solution. My initial approach involved implementing a fallback mechanism. For instance, if SellerA chooses to work with ProducerA, the system could automatically switch to ProducerC if A is out of stock.

  21. I think we should but it’s not a priority at my organization. It’s release and move on to the next thing.

  22. I can understand that. There's no point doing the hard work if no one is interested. I found my bosses really respect it but it'd be tough if it went unnoticed.

  23. Any good PM should measure the impact of their work, full stop. That can happen in lots of different ways (product metrics, closed sales deals, user surveys, etc), but it’s gotta happen somehow.

  24. Imagine studying hard your entire life and finally getting the opportunity to show everyone that just because you're a canine, it doesn't mean you can't have a respectable point of view on supply chain infrastructure in Central Asia.

  25. It's in that middle ground where most people really won't notice. People with SMP (or those who know about it) will see it very obviously but others won't.

  26. I think a very good artist good scatter some extra dots around the front to make it less sharp. Maybe worth asking

  27. To give you useful input, it might be worth you sharing your skills, background and interests?

  28. Engineering grad with 3 years of work ex in data engineering/analytics and then MBA. Been a PM for about 7 months now

  29. Oh, you've got options galore. The more technical you are, the less you need to handle stakeholders. And you might enjoy it more when you're a bit older and are valued for your technical leadership.
