Vapor honing is a surface refinishing process that combines water, compressed air, and abrasives to clean and restore surfaces. The outcome provides a lighter color than glass blasting.
Removing the thumbstuds doesn’t void the warranty as one can always take the new thumbstuds off before sending it in for spa treatment and just request new thumb lugs be installed.
I taped up knife, used dremel to ground one side enough, drilled a hole there to where it would be deep enough to use a small hex bit with a vice to push other side out, then use bigger bit to remove side that was grounded down.

Can you save me wading through Google and tell me what vapor honing is?

Do you still have the original thumbstuds? Does removing them void the warranty?

How did you like it with the cf scale? I have my eye on a tantp cf sebenza but that one is enjoying too, it would go with my pj dp small inkosi
The CF scale is nice and makes the knife feel lighter. I just like the feel of glass blasted scales more.

I taped up knife, used dremel to ground one side enough, drilled a hole there to where it would be deep enough to use a small hex bit with a vice to push other side out, then use bigger bit to remove side that was grounded down.
