Op what makes you say that about Charleston SC?
Charleston for 2022 had a 46% area pay gap giving them a 11.64% pay gap minus rest of us percentages. For 2021 5.6% and 6.5% for 2020. They add the 3 up and avg to get the avg for last 3 years which is what the FSC looks at. If Charleston gets another 46% or better for the 2023 year it will put them close to being over the 10% avg threshold. And if they don’t make it the following year they surely will be over the 10% threshold as the 5.6 and 6.5% will bump off as it’s only the last 3 years they look at so one year always falls off when they calculate the next. Also look at the 4 areas that all are getting localities like Reno NV, for 3 years all there % where in the 40s plus putting them over the 10% threshold.
OP, have you ever found a year where the president or Congress did not override these suggested rates with legislation and or EO.? Always wondered when the last time was, if any.
I don’t believe so, the president usually goes with the pay agent recommendations. I believe your asking me for instance they recommended no new changes..and congress in August of this year said yeah no we are gonna give Salt Lake City Utah it’s own locality. I have not seen that happen since I’ve been following this.
