That's really cool. Also a crazy amount of time working on a car. Hopefully you can get it finished. How far along is the build. Have you just been focusing on suspension/body.
Suspension and body is done, body is oainted and rollcage is welded. I have a lot of parts ready to go on (brakes, plastic windows, fuel system, gearbox, axles, diffs etcetera) but doing all that work and still having no engine makes no sense to me.
If you have everything besides an engine I would start throwing it together man. Throw the windows in. Then the diffs/ gearbox. Get them brakes in too. What engine did you plan on throwing in it? If you have most of the parts to complete it I would start working on that then source an engine when you have the money. My 240sx project I've been working on for about 2-3 years. I've just done body work and suspension. The engine I'm going to put in last. At least everything else will be done tho.
Let’s hope so. I just bought a house that needed a massive renovation (we didn’t plan on that) inflation and energy costs are hitting hard, en planning a family is also not cheap.
