  1. I was thinking of making a Pillow Cat for my daughter! She's obsessed with Gabby. Your DJ Catnip is too cute too.

  2. Omg I just watched the ectoplasm orgasm episode of What We Do in the Shadows last night. 🤣🤣🤣

  3. I get a set of plastic hooks (Prym) specifically for airports. They are good and cheap enough. Some projects you could made are beanie, scarf, fingerless gloves, crop top, sweater vest maybe. What do you think?

  4. Great ideas! I also have my "airport hooks", but all my lace work has been done with my decreased grandmother's hooks and yarn, and I'm just kinda emotionally attached to using them together ❤️.

  5. This is directly from Ford’s calculation of the cost of fixing the Pinto’s gas tanks or letting passengers be burned alive. Not singling out Ford, this is widespread. But we know the actual details on the Pinto from court testimony.

  6. We had a pinto when I was a kid, and someone rear-ended us on our way to see Santa. Car was totalled, us kids got some stitches from the back window exploding onto us, but the car itself didn't explode.

  8. I think we all must have chosen this pattern for our husbands! 🥰

  9. Nice, I like the first one a lot!

  10. That's the one I made for my husband years ago, in a Heather blue. He still wears it!

  11. Wheat penny in Dayton is great for gluten allergies. Many restaurants in Yellow Springs are oriented towards more healthy/ locally sourced foods and are willing to adjust an order for you. Current cuisine in YS is a deli where most people carry out but has lots of options for people with special dietary needs.

  12. Roost in the Oregon district has amazing authentic Italian cuisine.

  13. Sueno downtown is my vote. Hit tender mercy afterwards also for some awesome drinks.

  14. Fresh Thyme by the Fairfield mall recently began selling loose teas in bulk.

  15. The last time I sat in either parent's lap was when I was around that age. I had cuddled into my father's lap when my mom came into the room and told me to get off.

  16. I'm a strong lefty, and double majored in math and physics. My brain just automatically loves to manipulate numbers, even when I'm not consciously thinking about them.

  17. Hello, you appear to be asking a common question (Rule 8). Please take a moment to look at the

  18. Really? Maybe this subreddit isn't for me if this question is at all controversial.

  19. Well this is about as good a reason as I can see to leave this sub.

  20. Hi hisgirlPhoenix, thanks for posting your piece for us to see! Don't forget to link the pattern you used & other relevant information (e.g., yarn, weight, type; hook used). Add it in a reply to this comment, so others can find it easily. Thanks!

  21. No patterns, and just used whatever yarn I had handy that matched the photos.

  22. I know exactly how banter between siblings work, which is why my husband has offered to pay for therapy for his brother, who he "good-naturely" teased for decades. You're a bully, and it's easy to say it wasn't any big deal when you weren't the target. You suck as a brother and should be groveling for forgiveness, even though you don't deserve it.

  23. I was thinking the same thing. But I'm a 71 yr old grandma and I was too embarrassed to admit I thought it, let alone say it.

  24. I spent the whole time watching the series trying to figure out how her shawl works. Glad I'm not the only one obsessed with it

  25. If you have the ability to also see a nutritionist, they could help make sure you're getting enough vitamins, minerals, protein, etc. I also got light headed and had headaches at first, until I adjusted to eating more protein- rich foods like beans and lentils. For me, it was blood sugar issues and the protein helped reduce sugar spikes.

  26. I make these and put them in my amigurumis so they all have a little heart ❤️

  27. I bought an amigurumi off etsy years ago and it came with a little red heart that made me feel so very special. ❤️

  28. I found a parasite in my piece of meat that I'd made sure to buy local from an ethical business. Just looking at meat still makes me nauseous. There's always the risk of that kind of thing in meat and fish. Also, my daughter went to veterinary school and worked with cows, pigs, goats, and sheep from local farms. She changed majors and became vegetarian because of how she saw the animals being treated, beyond the facade of what the farms showed customers.

  29. I got some in California last year and they came in a zip- closed bag. I keep hoping they'll change to that here also.

  30. Lots of good options listed here, but I'd add Coco's bistro to the list. Food quality like the winds or Roost but with more romantic ambiance and a commitment to social justice from the owners.

  31. The first time I went vegetarian it was because I lost my gallbladder, and high fat or high protein foods would make me nauseous and throw up. I enjoyed the diet, but lost so much weight I became dangerously thin and was medically encouraged to add meat back in.
