Former smoker here. I don't think less of people who smoke. But I do think less of people who light up around a group of non-smokers, or smoke in a car with non-smokers, or people who vape in a business which is non-smoking, and most of all, people who think it's ok to vape in my non-smoking house.

I don’t like the comparison because my grandfather was one of the first American soldiers to find a concentration camp. They didn’t know what Hitler was doing until they found a camp. I don’t like the comparison because while animals can suffer they don’t have the prefrontal cortex that humans do that made this so tragic. Jewish people, Slavic people, and LGBT people were dehumanized, stripped of their humanity, and tortured by other humans

As a current smoker, I'm with you - if I'm around non-smokers, I don't smoke. In the car with someone who doesn't smoke? I'm not smoking either.
