  1. Don't think there's a way without jailbreaking the console dude, I doubt Sony would ever allow it.

  2. Black Sabbath specifically used “metal” intervals in their music. Lots of tritones, flat 2nd chords, and a lot of chromaticism.

  3. Agreed, and it shows not just in their note choices but the imagery and lyrical content to go with it. While other bands had elements of what we recognise in metal, I'd argue that BS was the first "whole package".

  4. Which is why I have a hard time having a problem with AI. The argument that it's using other people's work to make something new, it's exactly what people have been doing since the beginning of time.

  5. Imagine you've been bowling most of your life and for the most part you've been able to bowl pretty accurately but over time you've developed this habit where it always seems to veer to the left and it's been getting worse.

  6. That’s the point of snapchat, users send photos to be promptly deleted

  7. See even though I know thats how snapchat works, I still don't 'get' it. Like why would I want that?

  8. When I say I want to retire early, what I mean is I don't want to continue doing something simply because I'm financially dependant on it.

  9. Homer: "let the bears pay the bear tax, I pay the homer tax!"

  10. No. You make product. I pay for product. That should be the whole exchange.

  11. This album is amazing, but there are so many people out there that don’t understand/hate Radiohead that it simply cannot be the right answer for this question

  12. Yeah c'mon, radiohead... people are just ignoring the challenge and posting their favourite albums at this point lol. Radiohead is hardly the band that comes to mind when trying to think of something with the widest appeal.

  13. Whip the edge of the butter knife across the surface of the butter a few times. You'll get a build up of soft butter on the knife to then spread.

  14. It depends on the vegan/vegetarian of course. Been a vegetarian for 3 years and my only complaint about smelling meat cooking is that it makes me hungry.

  15. It would have saved them if they had not wasted so much money and time on those add ons for MD. There was a arms race, sure, but the truth is, players did not take part in this arms race. It was just showing off to other companies why they kept making these stupid add ons for consoles back then. If Sega had kept away from that, they could have produced far more powerful Saturn, a console that could've run the same games as PS1 did, for the most part.

  16. They definitely got caught up in the dick measuring contest way too much. It's even embedded in their mascot, whose characteristics were driven purely as a way to show off the power of the console.

  17. One thing I've learned from emulators being allowed on the app store is that if you do not have a Mac transferring files onto the iPad is fucking infuriating.

  18. The PS5 is just the worst looking console. I hate the design of that monstrosity. Great games but what were they thinking with the design?!

  19. They screwed up everything about it. The absolute monster size, the warped sides with flared out collar that makes it awkward to hold and store. The piano black middle that's a fingerprint magnet. The stand which in horizontal arrangement slides off anytime you touch the console.

  20. It'd all depends what you'd like and per game.

  21. I get a little flight anxiety. But then I just remember how many flights happen across the world every day without issue. The thousands of staff that wake up in the morning where their whole day job is just jumping on several flights a day and come home unscathed. I think about the training needed to become a commercial pilot. I think of all the redundancies and that any time you hear of a problem, experts will either say there's redundancies for that or that's not essential for flight, almost to the point where they make it sound like you could lose like 80% of the plane and still be able to fly. After thinking all that, what are the chances the one I get on every now and then is going to be the one with a catastrophic failure?

  22. Real bone headed decision to not have it connect to and be an extension of your phone, you know, like every other smart wearable device.

  23. Normal pop country or Beyonce cashing in on a trend by wearing a cowboy hat for a little while pop country?

  24. If every company just employed one random guy from the internet that they ran shit through none of this would happen.

  25. Would have love to have seen CBGBs. Such a historical place in music. Guess if I ever visit America I could still see the sunset strip locations like The Rainbow or Whiskey A Go Go.

  26. This is a silly argument. *Their and *them are both neutral pronouns

  27. Ok so maybe I'm misinterpreting what they're trying to tell me with the "she/they" pronouns. So if it contains a gender neutral one that means all gender neutral variances are ok. Does it also work that way for the 'she' part, if they say 'she' does that mean you can also use any feminine variances like 'her'?

  28. Holy dick, I never knew it was groupings like that. I always thought if someone said "she/they" that that's the only pronouns they want you to use, like they are giving you an exclusive list. This is the first time someone has said it's like groupings of pronouns.

  29. I respect it's place in gaming history and realise the impact it had on the move to 3D platforming. That being said I didn't grow up on Nintendo (except for gameboy), I was a sega and playstation kid, so I don't have the nostalgic ties to Mario 64 or the Mario franchise as a whole. I played it much later and probably because of the times it just didn't seem to age well and I didn't think it was that great.

  30. I'm with you, my wife sometimes asks if we can shower together and I'll do it for her sometimes but she knows I'm not into it.
