  1. which selsun is it and where are you located? i work at a grocery store and we still stock the yellow and blue one and as far as i know we aren’t discontinuing it

  2. I’m in the U.K. The one I used was just called “Selsun 2.5% Selenium Sulphide.”

  3. was the one you were initially using the yellow bottle or the blue bottle? as far as i know, the only difference is the percentage of selenium sulphide

  4. I recommend starting with pycno, i make youtube guides if you're interested. Channel is my name.

  5. aw i really liked happy hour. it really was about nothing but i liked that a lot. i did stop about 30% of the way through before picking it back up though

  6. I really wanted to like it but I just found it a bit empty haha. Granted, probably the best I’ve read out of the three books that I listed!

  7. I feel the exact same and it’s the TikTok trend that has ruined popular books for sure. Open Water was so contrived, pretentious and cheesy I couldn’t believe it’s praise! Worst book I’ve read recently. These days I check reviews from real critics/widely read people and people that have read books that I think deserve merit. At the risk of sounding pretentious also if someone can’t appreciate any type of classic well structured literature or “literary” novels i.e. Pulitzer/Man Booker/Nobel winners (not always btw!) then I’d be very skeptical of their recommendation also. Avoid taking book suggestions from the Taylor Jenkins/Motessa/etc. brigade!

  8. Your comment just popped up as I was reading through all the others and I am so glad you said that about Open Water.

  9. I bought a secondhand copy of The Exorcist and a really discoloured Polaroid was in there. It seemed to be of a young couple in Paris.

  10. To be fair, I took a liberty in including The Big Sleep because I did actually start that last week, ha. And Exteriors is really short… like, maybe ~70 pages?

  11. New to Christie myself. I finished Murder at the Vicarage and really enjoyed that. I would recommend it if you haven’t read it already and want to continue with Christie!

  12. I’ve finished four books over the last week and just finished my fifth today. This is probably the best run I’ve had with reading since I was at university, and owing mostly to my new Kindle.

  13. Hi! I don’t know about the issue you are facing, but can you please tell me which book is this? Thanks!

  14. Probably a publishing fault, a.k.a. poor proofreading.

  15. I agree. I was finding it a bit irritating having the line spacing between every paragraph anyway but the line break in the middle of some paragraphs started bothering me.

  16. Disappointment: I had a job interview today for a role that is extremely similar to what I do now and for the exact same salary. I went to the interview and thought it went really well — which it did. I got the phone call this afternoon and got told I gave “an excellent interview” and that there was no real feedback (they told me something about how I didn’t expand on the company’s values which I think was just so they had something to say) and that I actually performed better in some areas than the person they gave the job to. Unfortunately, apparently that person was already doing the job so I stood no chance. I think I was more just a name to fill a quota for the sake of legal formality.

  17. If I need to go down Islington I go straight on at the top and turn right by the lights to go past the hospital, then back on to Islington. I hate that junction. Worst in the city.

  18. I’m unable to connect to any games. For example, I’ve tried Dead By Daylight, Fortnite and Star Wars Battlefront II, all digital games that are installed on my hard drive.

  19. I enjoyed it but that’s about it. A lot of it felt more like filler than actually expanding upon anything.

  20. Hey, where about in bootle were you? I’ve just moved here and am slightly concerned about experiencing the same thing as you, I moved from Anfield to get away from it

  21. I lived in Anfield and found it a little frightening although Stanley Park is beautiful. I live in Dingle now and few much safer as a mixed race woman.

  22. I almost parked in one too on Monday and the ticket wardens were there handing out tickets to everyone. Told me the single yellow line was fine to park on as it was after 8pm

  23. I didn’t even know the wardens were out and about after 6pm so that’s good to know. After 6 I usually just assume I can park anywhere (within reason).

  24. I think it’s worth checking out the Liverpool Watersports Centre. They do a load of water activities and I’m pretty sure they do wild swimming. I think they do it in one of the quays further down, like past Costco.

  25. Brill I’m off to Costco first thing tomorrow so I’ll take a detour on the way home

  26. The Watersports Centre is up the other way, towards the Dingle, so might be worth googling first and seeing what they say on the site!

  27. Stanley Park, literally next to Anfield, open up as a car park on match days so I’m sure a concert will be no different. I’d get there early though because it’ll likely fill up (and I’m not sure how much they’ll charge).
