  1. Do you find the CCNA “funner” I know it a more difficult cert but my hopes are that it’s more bearable, it seems like it’s more hands on.

  2. CCNA fun? Lmao I want to kill myself trying to cram this information into my brain. Honestly I had a more interesting time in sec+ because it was something I was extremely interested in and IT was very novel to me. With the CCNA I want to get the cert so I can move up in my career but I’m getting extremely frustrated with retaining the information.

  3. Genuinely asking, if you are studying a cert for the sake of having it to progress, but you are feeling the way you do, hyperbolic, sure, but why are you doing? Like, straight up? What you're studying in the CCNA forms the foundation for your technical competency for your career, so expect to remain in this world if you want to be a Network engineer - This is a choice you're making not something you're forced to do, so, what gives?

  4. Preparing for a 90min exam where I have to cram all the knowledge for a pass or fail is not my favourite style of learning. I have no problem with learning networking to grow in my career. I highly dislike studying for a huge exam.

  5. Both are pretty generic titles. By the description, the specialist is a step up, but ask questions.

  6. What kind of questions do you suggest?

  7. You’re putting the cart before the horse friend. Finish the certs then apply for jobs, meaning any advice at this moment isn’t helpful since you can’t apply it right now.

  8. Doing school assemblies and having these things project the words to Christmas carols is definitely a core memory of mine.

  9. 1 and 2. You look younger in 2 without the facial hair but you look sharp.  The pictures where your hair is flat are not flattering haircuts.

  10. Sounds like a scam. Any time they are trying to sell you on making money my scam radar goes off. Who wouldn’t like to earn extra income on the side?

  11. Would not recommend a career in 2024. Perhaps in 2025. And maybe in 2026.

  12. Jason Dion’s practice exams which you can buy on Udemy. If I recall I think his Udemy package comes with 6 practice exams or so.

  13. May I ask why not before? I don’t usually do cardio, bad habit I know, but I have been trying to add it in and mentioned to a friend and she said running or the treadmill at the beginning to warm up.

  14. Long story short, if you care about hypertrophy and maximizing gains, conventional advice is to do weights heavy enough in the 6-8 rep range and go to failure. Exhausting your body with cardio BEFORE strength training doesn’t optimize your energy to lift weights; especially if you’re lifting to failure.

  15. This is my understanding as well. Cardio burns the energy you could put into maximizing your lifts. For warmup, I like to stretch and do some “prelifts”. For example, if my deadlift day is 125 by 6x, then I might do 60 or 65 8 times to get things loose.

  16. Personally my warm up is the exercise itself but at 50% the working weight I’ll be doing usually around 6-8 reps. For example, if I’m doing bicep curls I’ll warm up with 15s and then my working weight would be 30.

  17. People really must be loving the new Timmy’s pizza

  18. -Watch some videos on how to counter, riposte, etc.   -Try not to just randomly hold block; be smart about how you go about it  -Learn how to kick and jab and what they do  -Try not to take a bad fight (ie out numbered)  -Try to attack another player that is already fighting your teammate  -Have fun

  19. Get it checked by a professional and don’t look for medical advice online.

  20. If I recall I think you have to log into Pearson vue for CompTIA and you’ll be able to see the test centres in your area

  21. Sorry, newbie question, but what exactly is “recovery” in the context of lifting?

  22. You work out, your muscles tear, your body needs to recover (rest and sleep). That’s how you get stronger.  Edit: working out and exercise is better than not doing it at all. Obviously do your best to fix the sleep issue but short term: don’t worry about maximizing gains. Just worry about being consistent in working out first.

  23. So it depends on how consistent you are in the gym and your diet. Working out will help you build muscle and what your diet is help dictate your body fat %.

  24. Do it and just apply to new jobs always.  I had three months of help desk experience before I found a new job.

  25. Study Comptia A+, pass both parts to get A+ certified. Find a Help desk job. Continue to get certs to level up (network+ or CCNA, then sec+). If you’re doing a career switch/transition to IT it’s constant leveling up via certs while you try to position to higher paying jobs that give you more experience (somehow).

  26. Thank you! I’ll look up Messer on YT is what I’ve been told? He teaches well and sets you up amazing to take certs. Do you have any suggestions?

  27. You have that info right. He’s free on YouTube and information is very straight forward. I would also recommend Jason Dion’s practice exams on Udemy as well if that isn’t already in your scope.

  28. HP home printer install for a user?  HUGE FUCK YOU. I hate HP and I hate how broken installing HP printers are.

  29. Field tech is also a start point. Because in IT experience is usually king.

  30. First of all. Congratulations on earning your A+. Personally, i would suggest earning the Network+ next.

  31. I second looking for work at a MSP. They have high turnover usually because it’s stressful and low paying, which means it’s great for people looking to break into IT as they’re more willing to take people who are green.

  32. For any users receiving the “Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed.” Launch Error: please attempt to validate your game files.

  33. To be specific: go to your steam library > right click on Chilvary 2 and select "Properties" > Select "Installed Files" > Click on "Verify integirty of game files"

  34. What is the fix for "Easy Anti Cheat Not installed" launching error? I tried to install the easyanti cheat exe in the EasyAntiCheat folder in Chilvary 2 but nothing happens.

  35. Game doesn't work. Can't launch the game because anti-cheat not installed

  36. There’s truth to this but it should be said that this isn’t always best advice for first dates - most instant attraction only goes skin deep and some people take time to open up. If you aren’t feeling it by date three it’s definitely time to call it off, but expecting someone to knock your socks off on the first date is a great way to pass on someone who could have had potential for people who are only good at first impressions. If it’s a “fuck no”, then that’s another story.

  37. I definitely agree. Shouldn’t necessarily apply to first dates as it’s hard to know what someone is like.

  38. If you aren’t a “fuck yes” to spending time with someone you meet then move on to someone else. If you get the feeling that the other person isn’t also a “fuck yes” to spending time with you, move on to someone else.

  39. I'm slightly afraid of the can of worms I'll open by giving Craigslist a try, but gotta do what I gotta do ig 🤷‍♀️

  40. I was honestly just joking. Don’t do it

  41. You should try Craigslist, their inbred uncle

  42. If a woman is interested in you they will make every effort to see you and talk to you. A girl who is not interested in you ghosts you. Don’t contact her again and move on. She isn’t interested in you.
