  1. WHOA. Based on the title, thatā€™s not where I expected this to go. OOP is in a horrible situation, but doing exactly what she needs to do for her boys. Something is horribly wrong with her stepdaughter, and frankly, her husband too

  2. Get an annulment. She has committed fraud by entering a marriage contract and not telling you her true orientation. Youā€™ve not consummated, get an annulment.

  3. Or, maybe, just spit balling here, answer the damn phone?

  4. Iā€™m not one for clubbing, Iā€™ve only been a couple of times but thereā€™s no way I would have answered the phone in one. I never would have heard anything.

  5. YTA - you talk about the world not revolving around her, but her wedding day DOES. I think you think the world revolves around you and your tastes, but it does not. Either wear the dress the bride picks or drop from the wedding. Youā€™re being selfish.

  6. Make sure you check state laws if you want to teach some subjects solely in a different language, some states require all core subjects be taught in English.

  7. My husband grew up wealthy and was an only child. All of his friends in his neighborhood were only children or had 1 sibling. Only one family had 3 kids and they were known as the ā€œbig familyā€. This was also true for his school friends in a similar income bracket. Both of his closest best friends were only chicken. The wealthy, but not mega wealthy had small families back then. So I donā€™t find it weird that the rich families were one and done. But I also feel like I knew more only children back when I was a kid in the 80ā€™s and 90ā€™s than I meet now. I only know 2 only child families, and both of the moms had fertility problems, so it wasnā€™t on purpose.

  8. I absolutely adored this show. It didnā€™t try to be accurate at all, so I watched it as complete fantasy. So trashy and epically bad. Such a guilty pleasure, especially with Catherine de Medici, such a villain and hero by turn. She steals every scene.

  9. Thatā€™s about the time the writers flee the writers room and whoever is left standing which are the worst writers finishes the show. Itā€™s so Netflix it makes me barf.

  10. We cleared debt and live small on one income. I cook as much as possible and we donā€™t do big fancy vacations.

  11. TBH I feel like the writers punished the characters because Melissa got pregnant in real life. They handled it SO badly. A fake vasectomy and massive lie feels out of character for Jackson.

  12. Well at the very least at switching jobs and having better mental and physical health seems like a good thing even if your wife resents you for it. Some women would love a guy thatā€™s home more, but seems like the one your with likes more money.

  13. Iā€™d agree, however the stress from a 50% pay cut is also huge unless he was making high 6 figures. And he didnā€™t discuss it with her, he just did it. Iā€™d be pissed at my husband too.

  14. Beautiful, but not formal enough. You need a floor length gown.

  15. NTA - if marriage means something to you and your culture, but you wouldnā€™t marry him, then DUMP him. Good riddance to stale bread.

  16. We love it! It was perfect for my 3 year old (now 4) who had FOMO over not being in school with her sisters. I think the Preschool stories are great, itā€™s the Primer ones that are darker fairytales. She memorized the character qualities and catechisms with ease.

  17. Gentle + Classical. Itā€™s for ages 2-4 and lovely.

  18. So donā€™t budgeā€¦say no, and donā€™t budge.

  19. Did you start with the pre-reading level or Level 1? I fear she's in between. She knows all her letter sounds and can sound out simple CVC words. I'm wanting something that is a little bit more advanced than pre-reading, but a little bit less advanced than just jumping right in and going for it.

  20. Hello!!! Fellow SBC here! I was actually a homeschooled PK (my dad attended Southwestern and Luther Rice for his masters and doctorate), I now homeschool my kids who are wrapping up 2nd grade, pre-K, and preschool, then thereā€™s a tagalong 15 month old.

  21. Wow! This is amazing!! I'm actually taking notes on all this and will go over it all with my husband later. This is so comprehensive!! Thank you so much, and God Bless you and your beautiful family ā¤ļøāœļø

  22. Youā€™re welcome! God bless your family and ministry!!!

  23. YTA - youā€™re thinking of ending your entire family life because she bragged about the amazing sex sheā€™s having with you?

  24. Iā€™m hoping itā€™s the lighting but that jam looks yucky. My sis in law makes a phenomenal strawberry jam. We horde, fight over it and steal it from each other as was we run out. Itā€™s a beautiful strawberry color, ARO looks a little brown. Like I said I hope itā€™s the lighting.

  25. A lady in our homeschool co-op makes the best jam Iā€™ve ever put in my mouth, and itā€™s the most gorgeous ruby red color.

  26. So thereā€™s only 50 and theyā€™re sending out some as PR? Does this mean they expect their strawberry puree to fail?

  27. Homeschooling with a baby is decently easy if you school during nap time. Itā€™s the toddler years that are harder (but still doable). My kids are 8, 6, 4, and 15 months.

  28. Are any of you concerned that your kids will have limited opportunities because of homeschooling? Like never being into college, let alone a graduate program?

  29. How can she lay down on her pregnant belly? Like in that picture. Itā€™s not normal

  30. I assumed this was an old photo, thereā€™s no way she could, itā€™s wildly uncomfortable and not great for baby.
