Did somebody say 'Murica?

  1. I do social media/panel moderation work for a company that puts on conventions and we once had Tim Jacobus who illustrated most of the GB covers back in the day. He said when he first came on the publisher told him, "Yeah we're gonna put out three or four of these Goosebumps books, and then move on."

  2. No that's a typo. It should read "Gotye Edition". They just got Gotye to do the soundtrack... It's 8 hours of "Somebody That I Used to Know" on loop.

  3. When our oldest cat was a kitten, my wife and I were playing with him on our bed when all of a sudden he got this urge and bit the comforter. When he did one of his baby teeth popped out of his mouth, and my wife shrieked.

  4. Fellow veteran trivia host here. Been running games for over 13 years now. Here are some of the theme nights I've run to some success:

  5. That's a Taz-mission into an inverted bow and arrow sleeper hold.

  6. I have ears like a cat. And eyes like a rodent.

  7. I talked to Bob Holly at an indy show one time about this (awesome guy by the way).

  8. As someone who likes both, but usually prefers Marvel over DC... JLU ALL DAY!

  9. The first time I ever tried, I got it. I didn't even realize how big of a deal it was at the time. I haven't gotten it since. That was years ago. I'm still chasing the high that I never even knew I had that first time.

  10. I've been hearing rumblings of these "fires at food processing plants" conspiracy theories and two things jump out at me.

  11. Did anyone else hear the "Impractical Jokers" intro after reading that?

  12. Kimberly, the pink ranger. She can still get it, wherever she is.

  13. I knew this would be the top answer even before clicking the post!

  14. When you love ball so much that you become ball.

  15. Hubs just got snipped by Dr Cockrell at Baton Rouge Clinic. About a 15-minute procedure with a couple of days of rest/ice before returning to work. He had 1 consultation and scheduled the procedure about 2 weeks out. Overall, quick and relatively painless.

  16. Pretty much identical experience here. Recommend Dr. Cockrell and general anesthesia over in-office.

  17. It’s something with the water company in my area. They make an excuse about how some local pipe work “stirred up sediment.”

  18. This is quite common in the greater area where I live, and is indeed related to mineral deposits. Things like calcium and manganese can get built up in the pipes and are perfectly safe to drink (not that I'd want to personally, just a note).

  19. Back when my daughter watched Sesame Street daily, I'd legit stop whatever I was doing to sit down and watch the Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures segments with her. Theme song still sticks in my head from time to time.

  20. Had this same conversation with my brother when he went to a rally with plenty of shots circulated showing Nazi symbols in the crowd. His argument was, "nOt evERyOne THerE wAs a NaZI."

  21. I can get behind that argument. They were too worried about sprinting to catch up with the MCU rather than building a solid foundation from which they could launch.

  22. of course the gsd is a suspect, you have to suspect the person who found the body at least for a minute

  23. The law of "He who smell't it, dealt it."

  24. Seconded. I've also seen them at the one on Siegen.
