  1. That I think she is turning into pretty much every annoying stereotype of women that we know, except Karen. That I haven't been attracted to her in any way for several years. That I don't resent her for asking for a divorce when I was at the depth of my depression. In fact, I'm actually grateful for it now - it shocked me out of the depression. I just wish she would get a move on with finding a job so that we can live our lives instead of continuing to tiptoe around each other.

  2. How about reducing hours at one of the Js? If you're FTE there maybe convert to part time or contract. Reduce hours to 20/wk. You'll still have 1.5x income with some reduction in expectations.

  3. Didnt even get the call, just got an email telling me my payment for pro was declined and i called the store to be told i had been let go

  4. Wait, I thought we were pushing for those nft wallets tho!?!?!?!??

  5. What kind of hopium is this? The company is going nowhere up. They're on the verge of squandering all the goodwill they built up with retail investors. The new "leaders" don't know WTF they're doing. They're mostly toxic riff raff from Chewy that couldn't cut it back there. All they've done is displace the people that used to work there with their own people. And then, get this, let most of them go.

  6. hahahaha you just admitted to being part of the c-suite bloat.

  7. "corporate" isn't the "c" in "c-suite". Your lack of real world experience is showing.

  8. Mine too.. but this song is so hard on Just Dance.

  9. Yes we spoke about it and he said he was fine with whatever I wanted to do. Generally, being supportive. That is why I am having trouble seeing why he is upset now. He was making less than I do at J1 when he was working.

  10. Thanks for the context! Kinda feels like lifestyle creep by proxy (meaning the income you were bringing in) and some regret as well. Probably just need to ask about the comment next time he makes one. My guess is you'll eventually end up saying something like "J1 income is still more than sufficient to live our lives. Definitely more than we were making last year" in a way that is constructive in your relationship.

  11. Okay so I forced myself to do this research earlier this year. I'll try to lay it out in an easy way.

  12. Was it just to me who laughed at both - the initial message and the retort?

  13. If you're looking to get creative with your prosthetic eye, look at

  14. And rumor round the office is they are letting the work from home agents go to. Back before Christmas they wanted to open a clal center for 500 agents. We got maybe halfway there then shit hit the fan and they couldn't get our systems running, 3 different IT guys in less than a year, no organization, now we are about 110 in one call cente and we are probably losing 5-10 a week with no intention to rehire. Cna confirm I'm currently looking for other work.

  15. Fun fact: all the IT guys were contractors, not actual employees.

  16. That’s his point. The two 5” pizzas would nearly fit inside the 9” pizza but clearly not fill it, meaning two 5” is less pizza than one 9”

  17. No math needed, to be fair. Two 5-inch pizzas would easily fit in a 9-in pizza. I gather that a simple eye test would do the trick.

  18. "fitting in" does not equal "filling".

  19. Nah the word vegan is fine, but a judgemental sticker about it shows she's probably insufferable

  20. Yeah the sticker isn't judgemental at all. It is just advocacy. If the verbiage was shaming or guilting the reader for eating meat, then I'd agree that it is judgemental.

  21. I did, yes. Still don't see the judgement. If you're sensitive over this, then I dunno what to say to you...

  22. I ran into him at my next job, which was a 30% pay increase from what he was paying me. He wasn’t happy to see me!

  23. Almost fell out of my chair laughing

  24. After hiring over 600 people this year I'm very curious about the NET change in staff

  25. What is not factored into this 600 number is that several previous GME employees were displaced (and forced out) as the new hires came in. So, net was probably 200. And now with two layoffs of ~150 each, you're looking at workforce reduction of a 100.

  26. I wish yours got pinned.. sorry mate. Cheers to being shills for spreading the news, guess.

  27. Ha all in jest. It wasn't in this sub

  28. Yeah just do the assignment as expected. Maybe go above expectations a little bit to secure the job. Since you already know what to remediate and how, do that over the course of time. All the while only slightly exceeding expectations.

  29. Yooo wut doing, GMEDD?! Mr Karsh was part of the recent 150-ppl corporate layoff at GME.

  30. U got any sauce on this ? I audit the gmedd hire list frequently and all the top ppl are confirmed via linked in

  31. Got it from a source at GME. Full disclosure: I used to work at GME till earlier this year.
