  1. The current ongoing beef is so cringe and unimportant. People are talking about it like it’s on a similar level of story of adidon or something. I’m not even clicking the links anymore cuz I know nothing interesting is happening

  2. Ginger is such a great album. I love seeing BH haters seethe

  3. DAMN. Is so good man. Honestly my second favorite Kendrick album and just as good as GKMC, TPAB, and Mr Morale for me. Even section 80 is up there. Kendrick is on that Kanye trajectory, constant classic after classic, zero misses. And unlike Kanye, I don’t see Kendrick slowing down anytime soon

  4. Damn is a masterpiece. I cannot stand people calling it a pop rap album, one of the worst takes I’ve ever heard

  5. I’m playing a frat boy in a rap video tomorrow lmao

  6. ill never understand the people who are obsessed about these mid leaks and get crazy about them and then when the song finally releases they all like the leak was wayyyy better when actually its the exact same song

  7. Sometimes I prefer to more stripped down versions of songs which tends to be the leak version. For example, I only listen to the leak version of good news by Mac, never the actual studio version

  8. Building my first pc rn, fun process, learning a lot

  9. Pretty regularly, I think about Anderson paaks awful showing at this

  10. I love his freestyle, I think it’s clear he actually did it off the top and still made it sound nice. One of my favorites from that class

  11. friendly reminder Judaism=/= supporting zionism(not saying you're saying that I just see the conflation of the two/assumption of as much alot online)

  12. Yeah totally. I just don’t meet many pro-Israel individuals who aren’t also Jewish

  13. Got invited to my first studio sesh next week with a rapper I’ve been working with. Pretty excited to see the process in real time

  14. If you actively buy cool ranch over any other doritos you a snitch

  15. One of the hardest fall-offs in indie rap to my mind. Everything post Undisputed Truth has been wank.

  16. Us is probably his best album and it’s not even my favorite so I’m not biased

  17. Me and my long distance situationship have been in a really weird place, dating others but trying to figure out if we should be exclusive or not. She had a threesome last night and it broke my brain and now I’m an emotional mess on vday

  18. What do people think of Good AM? I hadn’t listened to it in years, but I threw it on randomly over the weekend and really enjoyed it much more than I remember. Feels like a good middle ground between some of the more light hearted Mac and the darker stuff on things like Faces or Watching Movies. How did it hold up for everyone else?

  19. Definitely my favorite Mac album, but not his magnum opus (that would be Faces).

  20. I’m surprised it’s not more normal to consider the art within the context of the artist instead of separating the two. I think you should be allowed to enjoy 2001 but also keep in mind that dr Dre used to be a vicious woman beater. I think if you view it from this perspective then it’s easier to let people choose to reject art due to the artist on a case by case basis. Like I’ve drawn a personal line with r Kelly but I’m not going to judge others for failing to do the same as long as they remain aware of how terrible of a person he is despite his impact on 90s rnb

  21. Went to a Grammy networking event last night, didn’t realize that those events are a big pull for people to visit LA this week. Met some cool folk, including a dude who had femdot on his last album. Everyone was super friendly and curious about each other’s craft

  22. Saw zay on Tuesday in LA. Such a good show, way better than the other times I saw him. He brought out Sza too which was pretty crazy. I ended up posting up right by VIP and chatted with Anthony tiffith briefly, hes just as scary in real life as you’d imagine

  23. Daaaaaamn that’s crazy. I really wanna see this tour but he ain’t comin my way. How was the merch booth were they selling cilvia vinyl and shit?

  24. I didn’t check the merch booth but I saw them selling Cilvia demo hoodies that were pretty cool

  25. Bryson Tiller is allergic to having professional sound engineers

  26. You’re probably already aware of him but j hus is your answer. He can do the smooth afrobeat swing shit but he also has a ton of range including some gritty drill and trap stuff, all while maintaining a lot of artistic depth

  27. Following up my thoughts 3 / pops prayer with 6 mile show has got to be some of the hardest shit I’ve ever heard
