  1. Looks like a 235 Massey, but pretty hard to tell accurately

  2. I zoomed in it's not. 135 I'd guess it has the right front and the round back mudguards were only on the 135s in the lineup

  3. Sure. I’d buy that for a dollar. Like I said, pretty hard to be accurate with that photo. I am in no way, shape, or form, a Massey guy, so I was really just going off the front grill/hood shape and thought it was newer than the 1 series.

  4. The US Airforce absolutely did. I know for a fact their Airforce Spec Ops used them, in fact there is one on display in the museum at Wright-Patterson AFB. Not sure if any of the other branches used 250s, but I also know for a fact that the Marines used Kawasaki KLRs (may have been the diesel variant)

  5. I want one of those. It is on my list to buy. I EDC a hiker, but I think a Locksmith may replace it.

  6. Which Honda Civic? The 1972 CVCC? Or the 2024 Civic Si? There is a lot of technology spread there my friend. A John Deere A or a Ford 8n or a brand new Cat machine?

  7. No longer a “tradie” but….. when everyone was changing from 12v to 18, rigid was the only company to warranty the batteries. Tools generally last about the same regardless of brand, but my concern (at the time) was battery life and technology. I went with Rigid then, and a long, long time later still use them. Just added the grease gun to my collection in fact. I have had a couple of batteries replaced over the years, but they were older, lower amp-hour ones. Now, I get why different trades pick different colours, but for me, and my situation, I am sticking with orange until I can’t anymore.

  8. “I’ll circle safely in the helicopter while Jim wrestles that enraged hippopotamus “

  9. Still have one in my truck. Actually, I think I still have the original content list for it too.

  10. I think in Ontario, if you license on a standard, you can drive either an automatic or a manual, but if you license on an automatic, you can only ever drive an automatic. I personally would license on a manual to keep my options open.

  11. Worked with 3 (that I know of) as Nuc-ops in two large nuclear plants in Ontario, Canada over my career. Never had an issue with any of them , however there were some short term illness concerns with one guy, but our contract is pretty forgiving for that sort of stuff. The other two were like you, stable and consistent. The military experience is absolutely helpful. Go for it, and good luck.

  12. But…. The moose antlers….. he has the moose antlers…. He can do anything….. it says so in the manual…..

  13. Not sure if this helps, but I have always had to hold the de-compression lever down when electric (or manual) starting my L100. I let it get up to speed, slip the level, and it (usually) catches right away. Not sure if you would want to try that until you know what the anti-rotation problem is.

  14. John Deere Snowmobiles…….. making kids walk home since 1972…….

  15. My first boss called me a retard and said what kind of grown man doesn’t know how to wire a 3way. I was 24, brand new to electrical. With proper training it took me 15 minutes to understand the concept.

  16. NO!!!! You cannot create energy! The candle is only capable of creating so much heat energy. You get no more heat energy just because you put a clay pot over it. That is just some poorly conceived urban fantasy.

  17. They do work well. It's not about creating energy. It's a thermal mass that holds heat rather than dissipating into the room and cooling. It's not a substitute for a room heater.

  18. Your whole argument seems to be based on the presumption that a slower release of heat energy is somehow better. It is the same amount of heat energy. It makes no difference whether you add “x” amount of joules of energy in one minute or ten. Adding the Terra cotta pot might give the illusion of adding more heat, but it doesn’t. It may provide a lower amount heat over a longer period of time, but it cannot provide more heat than the candle is capable of producing.

  19. Looks nice. What did you mount the 2” receiver to? I have a ‘96 and I am trying to fab a front bumper/receiver. Not really sure what to mount it to to take the force of pushing without damaging the frame/uni-body.

  20. Look at my post history, I have a whole post on here with pics of the mounting. I fabbed it up myself.

  21. As my dear ol’ dad used to say…”I am too poor to afford to buy shitty tools”. Buy the best you can, always.

  22. Ask him if he wants “F-15 Strike Eagle” on, I think, 8 of those…..

  23. sambar isn’t full time it’s push button 4wd on the shifter with an extra low gear that has 4wd only

  24. Thanks for the clarification. I test drove one once, and must have gotten confused between it and the “normal”? Subarus. Good to know for next time.

  25. As far as I know, only the Honda Acty and the Subaru Sambar are full time 4wd. All the other manufacturers are 2wd with the ability to lock in the second axle as required.

  26. Canada, 1913 build, here. My insulation is two bricks and a small air gap thick.

  27. Now don’t forget about all the dead house fly bodies and mouse shit. That has to count for something.
