  1. Yes I am sure I read/saw it. I actually have not seen many videos talk about changes to the digital teleconverter. Either way ... as I say above - this is all from what I have seen on the internet. We will know more as people get them in their hands. So .. you know ... save your tone for a place where it matters.

  2. This review you linked disagrees with your prior statement

  3. You can't copyright an idea. You can't protect an idea at all. You copyright works of art/creation (books, lyrics, songs, movies, code, photographs etc). You can trademark logos, names, patterns etc. You can patent designs. But ideas are not something you can protect.

  4. Just picked this one up, not sure what rock I was hiding under. Super fun game! Brutal at times and I have to do something else for a bit… but I def keep coming back. Sound effects are spot on; I’ve been looking for the soundtrack somewhere online ?

  5. Oh we didn't release it but that's not a bad idea. Thanks for the support! :)

  6. Bought the game a while ago and still keep playing it. The atmospheric sounds are incredible and the art too. Is there anything new in the pipeline? Is there also maybe some other indie game that you have discovered in the last years that is maybe worth mentioning? The fact that there are games again that are unique and ad free is a blessing!

  7. Thank you! Yes we're working on a prequel as I type this. It will be similar in some ways but very different in others, more details to come shortly!

  8. Okay but what about the updates like 3->5 seconds to leave a dungeon or 175->250 helltide dungeons, or ~30% reduction in armor across the board? Or reductions in XP gain?

  9. I don't think there was a 30% armor reduction? The total armor affix was nerfed 30% so if you previously had armor that had a +10% total armor on it it's now +7%

  10. I appreciate you understanding the ridiculousness of price gouging and inflation affecting young people. My dad still thinks student loan forgiveness should never be a thing (unless I'm eligible) even though he could work nearly full time while going to college and have almost nothing to pay back. Same with rent, housing, online ticket purchasing, insurances, and appropriate pay/benefits for jobs. Hell, even processing fees, delivery fees, and everything asking for tips (and not knowing if staff actually receive it) have become a way to make prices look affordable until you checkout.

  11. Back then to buy a single album was typically $20 for a CD. That's $40 today. That means for the price of spotify today you could afford 3 albums a year. People used to spend a whole lot more than that if they were into music. It's easy to look back and cherry pick the past and pretend it was all much better but reality is not so simple.

  12. The problem with some of those comparisons is that there's different factors involved than what I was using for examples. Without the internet, many of those things just simply couldn't work. And the business models now aim for a profit from volume as opposed to charging what something is worth to pay employees involved with providing that product.

  13. But if we look at houses, again house ownership rates are largely the same as the 80s and 90s. Yes they blew up in the early 2000s but that was an unsustainable bubble and many of those people lost their homes.

  14. The iPhone also supports widgets being able to be placed everywhere on the Home Screen. It has been that way since iOS 14. What is fixed are the sizes of the widgets.

  15. iPhone widgets have to be aligned to the icon grid

  16. Because Ashley Eckstein's voice was the voice of Ashoka for a span of nearly fifteen years and hundreds of appearances.

  17. Ray Park was never the voice of Maul. Mauls voice was dubbed over by Peter Serafinowicz and he had a single line. Ray Park, at the time, wasn't really even an actor, he had never had a speaking role. He was a stunt man, which is why they didn't use his voice. Not the same situation. They won't use Ashley Ecksteins voice.

  18. Oh okay i see what you mean then. Thanks for point it out

  19. Because you want the frames to be displayed to people consistently. If you have 40fps games running on 120hz displays then you get 1 game frame every 3 refresh cycles of the monitor.

  20. What are some things lacking in Godot 4 from a 3D perspective?

  21. Honestly I have not tried Godot 4 yet, but something that makes me apprehensive about using it is the lack of beautiful games made with it. Can you show me an example of a project using Godot 4 that can even remotely come close to some of the beautiful 3D games made with Unity?

  22. Godot 4 just came out a few months ago, so no, but you're free to assess its capabilities yourself. There's tech demos but it's way too early for complete games to be out.

  23. Aaaaand I'm at the final boss! Haven't beaten... it... yet, but MY GODS was this an exceptional game! Especially for an indie studio of two guys. As a mobile developer who only has a little experience in mobile game development, I can say that this is of excellent quality for a studio of any size. You guys should be really proud of this.

  24. Beaten! What a game. What a final battle. And I thought the rolling guy was difficult... 5 stars, man. I'd love to do something like this one day.

  25. Wow this really means so much! I, and I'll speak for my partner as well, are thrilled people are enjoying the game this much!

  26. The book is fiction and this was a world record at the time regardless of gender. What's wrong with you?

  27. This game was a labor of love between me (programming, sound) and my partner Dejan Poljvas (art, writing) for the last 3 and a half years. We both had to juggle careers, family, etc but we're extremely proud of what we've made and hope you all enjoy it :)

  28. Credit to you man, it’s awesome! I’ve been playing it all week, and it’s addictive as hell! Plus toucharcade gotw:)

  29. Thank you that means so much! My partner and I are so thrilled people are enjoying it!

  30. Looks great! I'll be sure to try it soon

  31. This game was a labor of love between me (programming, sound) and my partner Dejan Poljvas (art, writing) for the last 3 and a half years. We both had to juggle careers, family, etc but we're extremely proud of what we've made and hope you all enjoy it :)

  34. That looks cool please tell me it’s coming to iOS soon 😭🙏

  35. Took a little longer than expected but it's out!

  36. This is craaazy! Is it out yet? I would love to play it!

  37. Just submitted to the app store today for review!

  38. This is awesome! Are you open to sharing the code?

  39. This looks great :) love the Style youre going for

  40. Just mobile for now but it's always a possibility!

  41. Sure, that makes sense, but she then tells Obi wan they need to just trust anyone willing to help them.

  42. Children aren't exactly known for consistent logic, even the smart ones.

  43. I’m in the process of painting some Havsta units, any tips and tricks would be most welcome. Did you sand down the original paint layer and then paint over?

  44. Yes, with a nice quality foam roller for the panels

  45. 🤔 It looks decorative. Particularly behind the painting. Are those Ikea lights as well?

  46. Looks awesome! What is the color on the walls? Very rich.

  47. It's Mopboard Black by Benjamin Moore. Trim and built in are the same color

  48. I made the built in by taking IKEA units (Havsta) and building a platform and soffit and adding lights to the soffit. The rest of the room flowed pretty naturally around it.

  49. It looks very good and fun. Congrats! How did you make 2D lights on mobile devices in a performance-efficient manner?

  50. Looks great. Will it be ruined by ads?

  51. Madness/Endless is a mobile stealth game. Levels are 100% procedurally generated, and the player must clear each level without being seen. The game will feature a story mode with enormous bosses and compelling characters as well as an "Endless" mode where you can just keep playing forever.

  52. I am no expert when it comes to laptop hardware, because nowadays laptops often feature fully fledged chips. But what i do know is that my current cpu, due for upgrade soon, is quite a bit faster than a flagship phone, in performance per watt, no. But in raw performance, yes. I7 5820k. But i am not well versed in laptop hardware older than 5 years.

  53. Your CPU underperforms an iphone 12 in single threaded and barely outperforms it in multi threaded

  54. All cpus except the very newest ryzen 5000 series underperforms the iphone in single threaded. Atleast according to geekbench, i have no idea though how they manage to benchmark thse things seeing as the phone and computer uses different instruction sets. But by the looks of it yes. The iphone outperforms even top of the line i9 10900k in single threaded operation.

  55. There were plenty of real life applications of the ipad pro absolutely destroying in performance, like transcoding 4k video and photo editing
