  1. It obviously does because women have only beat men professionally a handful of times. The first women to join the men’s tour full time was in 2020. She had won four women’s world titles. She basically went out in the first round of most competitions, I think the furthest she has ever got since was the fourth round.

  2. As opposed to, say, societal factors biasing the amount of women who ever get into darts in the first place, let alone committing to the level of becoming a professional?

  3. Sepulchre is high focus and high input for terrible xp. You are getting like 90k meanwhile for half the effort you can get like 55-60k at ardy on mobile. Pre 92 it's just the same as seers but harder.

  4. You also make like a minimum of 2m an hour beyond floor 5. It’s not bis money but if you’re actually grinding 99 it’s way more time efficient in that sense beyond just being twice as fast

  5. aside from the rs3 locations and comments, it certainly is true they've been planning varlamore for a long time. the big beautiful OSRS history book has it on the map too. think about how long this has been being developed since it's a huge piece of content

  6. Mate, let's pull the fucking blinders off, we all play runescape, we are all very prone to addictions and bad habits

  7. Maybe it's more about enjoyment. If you don't enjoy it then it's impossible to learn.

  8. this is like demonstrably false, right? enjoying it certainly makes it easier to learn but like people clearly have game knowledge about puzzles or content or stuff they didn't enjoy

  9. It's mild hyperbole but it's obbiously much more unlikely that you'll find the motivation to learn something that is both difficult and unenjoyable in a videogame meant to entertain you

  10. certainly, and I don't mean to imply that it doesn't make it much harder (on top of being less motivated) if it feels unenjoyable. but i do think a fair chunk of people then are able to create motivation out of the goal itself, and at the end they may have some retrospective enjoyment from completing their goal, but may not have had it during the process. I guess I am mostly thinking it's a disservice to anyone who grinded out inferno and overcame the self and mental barrier to say they couldn't have learned it without liking it. but yeah, maybe I took that guy too literally

  11. It looks like the cape was straight up just stuffed in between you and the quiver, and pulled over the strap so it doesn't fall. Not like like you're wearing both.

  12. isn't that literally what it is and what it was going for?

  13. this looks much more forgiving than zuk. excited to try

  14. Idk man, I'm kinda glad zuk is 10 tiles away. Being up close to these big guys is scary.

  15. haha i guess there is an element of having the big bad next to you. this guy reminds me of tumeken's warden and certainly standing next to it is imposing

  16. I thought today was pretty easy. Every word being 3 letters was a cool idea

  17. the 3 letters is cool, but forced with the shortening thing. they very easily could have found another group of three letter words that didn't force it

  18. Seems like a good deal, I just use a money market fund though which gets about 5%. I feel like it's not worth chasing around for 10 basis points, for me.

  19. things said by someone who obviously never played runescape back in the day

  20. Right? All my progress from the early days was solely around doing the clue step in my bank lol

  21. fr, all the gains were getting reqs for steps, and i bought my first whip by farming hard clues until i got enough zammy pages (which were like 500k ea) to buy it

  22. My strategy of procrastinating content that people complain about regularly is paying off again

  23. me putting off maxing mining and agility for 3 years

  24. I just discovered hallowed sepulchre, have gone from 76 agility to 82 in a few days and pocketed 10mil. It’s up there with some of the best content in the game

  25. I love sepulchre but I'm refusing to do any more until 92 because I don't want to "burn" myself on the early floors sooner than I have to. I did a fair amount across some of the leagues so I've done floor 5 already but I basically want to save as much of it for 92+ as I can, so I've been rarely doing ardy laps instead

  26. no, albedo is a good thing when it comes to cooling down. if the rays either get reflected and trapped in our atmosphere, or absorbed directly, then we absorb their heat either way

  27. Well, we are having theoretical/conceptual discussion here so I think we can call it a opinion because we haven't yet arrived at conclusion

  28. It feels a bit disingenuous to say we are not at a conclusion in regards to entropy, I mean I kind of get what you’re saying but you can’t really pick and choose like that

  29. Imagine having no other personality trait but to relate everything to politics , I can recommend some books to you if you want man my DMs are open let me know , maybe you can find some cool traits there you can copy

  30. your name is literally fox news bro you fuckin jubbly

  31. same reason the mage BIS has a kodai and ward instead of a shadow and there isn't a radas

  32. no they don't, look at the text in the bottom of the image

  33. Finally losing it enough that I need to try for "reddit luck"

  34. if it helps, beaver drop rate from redwoods post-99 is 26.5m xp so you're like not even in the sub 5% of dryness, and depending on how you got to 99 you may not even be sub 10%

  35. do you know you can recharge infernal tools with either another stone OR another version of the tool?

  36. if you get hit by traps and run out of time on floor 3 regularly then i don't think 99 agility is likely in the cards for you

  37. Idk if you just said that for the pun or if you actually want an explanation so basically because stuff like slug and jump pets are so good, almost everyone is using a pet in the second spot that has an ability that activates when the friend ahead attacks like snake, Minotaur, and the poison frog.Eggplant in slot 2 moves those to the front and makes their ability useless which kinda shuts down entire teams sometimes.

  38. atronach. not only does it provide decent protection against enemy mages and elemental traps, but it gives you a 50% chance of simply shrugging off poison, disease or a dragons breathe attack. for martial characters, there is no downside whatsoever.

  39. i'm playing a "spellthief" rn and gave myself atronach to try and encourage myself not to rely on magicka too much, but now i'm getting antsy and want to swap and i feel like it's gonna feel so freeing to have the magicka regen lol

  40. "the final use does not need to succeed", is not the same thing as "the final use does not require a flip to be won".

  41. Alright, imagine if you flipped a coin and if it landed on tails the coin disappeared.

  42. Wouldn't it be (1/2)21 ? Don't have to win a flip to get the first bone use.

  43. you have to win a flip to keep the first bone use, though. but you're right, just for the last flip.

  44. Fishing I forgot to include, thanks for that.

  45. "okay i'll acknowledge every point you made but not actually change my opinion and move the goalposts backward because i stand by my uninformed comment"

  46. 40k for lower effort options sounds about right because most people don't enjoy sweating lavas/granite/sepulchre. Either way the fact you have to sweat in those 3 skills to achieve rates close to other skills' chill methods is dumb so his point stands even if the numbers aren't accurate.

  47. you can easily top 40k playing gotr (not sweaty), most later rooftops (not sweaty), and afking vm (not sweaty)

  48. just to put it into perspective, if you did 5000 kills in full masses and didn't get anything else you wouldn't even be dry in the conventional sense. the droprate for two items in full masses is more than 5000 kills.

  49. Having a level 2 whale eat the dragon it spits out a dragon with double its base stats. So it's like a 12/16 which is good for turn nine.

  50. i was having the whale eat the shitty tier 1s i was using to scale with dragon, hm

  51. Thats the worst garbage jagex ever introduced into the game and I hope they don't make any other boss like that.

  52. nah the vestige rolls thing is a neat concept (and opens the door for future rng manipulations to help control item flow, dry streaks, and so on)
