  1. Is your bracelet silver or gold? It’s beautiful, as is your dress!

  2. Gold. It also has moonstones on it (see pic 4) 🙂

  3. Oh my gosh I love this! Personally my vote is one the first necklace — I feel like the way it drops is unique and extravagant which is fitting for a wedding day. May I ask where you got your dress?

  4. Blue Sky Bridal. It’s a bridal consignment shop in Portland OR, but I think they have locations in a few cities. The dress is Costarellos Oleana. 🙂

  5. I adore this dress. I think adding cups would depend on your own personal style and the style of your wedding. I think “no cups” is a more simple, elegant, relaxed style, where as adding cups would make it a bit more “done up” looking, if that makes sense. Neither of these are a bad thing and I’m sure both would look amazing.

  6. I am 5’1’”, wearing flats, and also have a floor length dress without a train. I just ordered a short veil (20”) which will be a little longer than my hair. Personally I don’t want the veil to be a focus, just an accessory.

  7. They look great! I’m a newbie too. How long did it take for you to grow them to this length?

  8. Love it!! Is that a baguette wedding band? I just ordered mine in something similar! I love the simplicity of it, and it’s just as beautiful on your finger. I love it when the wedding band compliments and doesn’t outshine. Great choice! Congrats :)

  9. Thank you! It is a baguette! Channel setting, 3/4 eternity band. Yours is beautiful too - it looks great with the engagement ring!

  10. Wow I love this band! Saving this for inspiration later

  11. This isn’t the same, however we invited my fiancés brother but not his long time girlfriend. She is rude and unfriendly towards us, and has caused a lot of tension. We’re having a very tiny wedding, so my fiancé partially used that as excuse for not inviting her. It turned out she had already told my future BIL that she didn’t want to come to the wedding anyway. Everyone was relieved! I hope something like that happens for you. Good luck. Be firm if you need to. In the wise words of my future MIL, “Don’t let her steal any joy from your day.”

  12. i’m getting married in june too! the 8th :)

  13. Oh, how beautiful! 😍I’ll look into Wish and hair fiber powder. Thank you!

  14. My hair is very fine, and on the thin side. It’s a few inches past my shoulders right now (wedding is in June). I’d love to do a crown braid, but I’m just not sure if I have enough hair (density wise). The idea of finding hair extensions that match my color perfectly kinda stresses me out, plus there’s the added expense. If my HMUA artist can’t pull off the crown braid with the hair I have, I’m thinking about cutting my hair back to the chin length bob I’ve had most of my adult life (I think it gives my hair a bit more volume). Growing it out has been a pain though, and this is likely the only opportunity I’ll ever have for a professional to style my hair. Do you have any suggestions for hair like mine? I’m leaning towards not wearing in down (if I don’t cut it to bob length) because I like the back of my dress. Also of note: I have bangs. Thanks for your kind offer to help!

  15. We were originally planning on only having our professional photographer do ceremony and portrait shots too. Mainly because for our reception we’re just going to a restaurant. But we met up with our photographer a few days ago to talk about timeline and other details, and she offered to swing by the restaurant and just take a few “establishing shots” basically me and FH standing outside the restaurant, and a few if us sitting down at the table with our guests. Then she’ll leave and not stick around for the whole dinner. She said it would only take about 15 minutes, but that it will be great for triggering memories of that part of the wedding. You might want to ask your photographer if they’ll do that!

  16. I can vouch for The Power, The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, and Sign Here. You’re in for some fun. Enjoy!

  17. It’s a beautiful dress and it looks great on you! I think a bit of dress regret at some point before the wedding is normal. Just try to remember the feeling you had about it when you first saw yourself in it, and trust that with alterations, hair, makeup, and accessories you will look and feel amazing on your wedding day!

  18. I didn’t want to try to have to find a color match for my dress, so I’m going with a light powder blue shoe (flats). I think it’s going to be cute!

  19. I think it looks very nice on you. You could add a more noticeable necklace, earrings, and a veil to give it something extra.

  20. I got mine from Polamai on Etsy. Ring came quickly, exactly as pictured, very good quality.
