While Storm of the Century had its screenplay published in book form, I am fairly certain Rose Red, for whatever reason, never had its script officially published. The only thing was the tie-in book, The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer written by Ridley Pearson.
Not an official storyline, but apparently it would take place in the 60s and involve 4 kids living near a military base where a "special project" bunker is, and they go look for a friend that has mysteriously disappeared
