By moving your shares to your transfer agent (computershare), you put your shares in your name and remove them from the DTC's and corrupt broker's ability to infinitely loan them out. Go over to superstonk, they are drsing the entire float of game stonk and have guides how to do it from every broker.
These pieces aren't designed for investors or traders. They are bot produced hit pieces to legitimize the ebbs and flows of the algos.
