I saw a lot of positivity about it on Reddit and felt that it had to be said. Twitter and YouTube are already upset, but I found out on Reddit and went "wait, people are liking these posts about how it's being updated" It was kind of an "Am I alone on this?" moment until I checked out other sites after posting.
Splinter Cell was always set in a fictional world where politics in the real world didn't matter. Catering to a "modern audience" will put real world politics front and center.
I’d wholeheartedly (and respectfully) disagree, honestly. -Boris was complimented by Ouromov and Xenia, and I liked him as a computer guy more than Silva -Stamper was a fun Ahnold knock-off, but I wish they used the magician more (I forgot his name) -Bullion may have been weak, but Davidov, Gabor, and Renard were also henchmen to Elektra. -Zao (“Diamond Face”) might be dull, but he’s got a funny gimmick. Can’t defend him much. Great car chase, though.
I’d have added more to the list, but I think you’ve got the essentials, for sure. I may not like CR too much as a Bond movie, but I can’t deny the importance of it 👍
First, maybe this can help you: Maybe you can lower your quality? I know that sounds dumb, when when I started streaming a few months ago on YT, I had to stream RE Village in 480p, 4:3 to not get horrible buffering. I still had an audience that enjoyed being there, granted it was much smaller (maybe a couple people, and the game was new) but is that something you’d want to try? I got lucky and eventually got boosted internet, and I stream at 720p, 30-ish fps.
Speaking as a 21 year old about to finish at a 4-year college, I wish I started in a community college. I would’ve gotten my core classes out of the way for a lot less, would’ve had a better food plan, housing, and wouldn’t have had to deal with so much bs that happens at college. Fights with roommates, disasters they call parties, snooty as fuck kids when I was working for minimum wage in the cafeteria.
I pre ordered mine with Lady Jaye and Cobra Commander, and I’m scared I may not even get it. They’re saying they’ll ship in May. I doubt they’ll even have them in stores in May
Mine was canceled. I feel terrible too, because I was the one who posted on this subreddit for people to pre order them when they were “restocked” and I’m sure they’re all as disappointed as me; some might be worse 😔
That’s what’s keeping me from getting them. I really don’t like the new “retro” line figures. They feel really cheap but these guys are durable as hell. Whenever I find the figures I want, though, the O-rings need replacing and idk how to do that at all. I settled for the new retro line, honestly but I’m willing to scoot back to the older ones if I can pay someone nearby lol
I haven’t seen anything Machinima since Battlefield Friends hopped on the “Hype Train” for Battlefield 1 lol. It was all pretty brain-dead humor. I still say “dip dip potato chip” if I teabag in a shooter
Yeah. Being in the real world sucks ass, man. You have more money to play with, but you have to balance everything. Some days I just wanna stay home, put on a Bond movie, and play with Star Wars toys lol
I think Walmart ships them as soon as they can. I also pre ordered an Anakin figure recently, but it’s apparently already in stores, but I have to wait until April to get it. I don’t understand Walmart’s shipping, just as long as it gets to me
This has been a legit concern for me. I love the franchise, but there’s too much going on around the license in my opinion. I feel like this is a concern because even in the Brosnan days, the franchise was doing something new with each outing. Now it feels like Craig’s movies are giant retreads of past success. Casino Royale was darker and more down to earth, like Batman Begins. Quantum was pure adrenaline, like Bourne. Skyfall’s plot was almost exactly Dark Knight in my eyes. Spectre tried being a goofy Bond movie and got shot in the foot by that, because those who loved Skyfall, probably hated Spectre. I’m worried about them going with industry trends and saying “he doesn’t work anymore” and kicking him out.

For me, it’s “You Know My Name,” such a great opening song! Who would’ve known a rock ballad would work for Bond?

It sounds like you’d want a discord server more than a Twitch channel for this. Definitely worth a shot on Twitch, though.
