  1. Does anyone know why they were in Morocco filming if Blackbeard treasures in North Carolina?

  2. It's commonly believed among pirate historians that Blackbeard's treasure was not gold or jewels, but slaves. I think it's very possible that they may be in Morocco tracking down Blackbeard's "treasure" from the Atlantic slave trade. If they want to tie it in with previous seasons, they could even reveal that one of Denmark Tanny's ancestors was a slave on a ship that was captured by Blackbeard, and they were subsequently sold to the Limbrey family. I say Denmark's ancestors and not Denmark himself, because Blackbeard died in 1718 and Denmark Tanny wasn't born until 1806, according to the Netflix website. I believe the old man with Blackbeard's log in the final moments of Season 3 may end up being a descendant of Edward Teach or a member of the Limbrey family, possibly serving as an antagonist to the Pogues in Season 4. We'll see.

  3. On its own, I think it's quite decent, but it was meant to spark a new series of films, and it leaves a few important details open ended as a result. Of course, those details were resolved in DMTNT, but that movie isn't good enough, imo, to make watching either 4 or 5 worth it. The ending of 3 was so perfect that two lackluster sequels feel superfluous. I think if 5 had been really good, both 4 and 5 would have been welcomed additions to the franchise, but the failure of 5 kind of makes the unresolved moments of 4 worse and overall pointless.

  4. Well, I don't know if this will happen in season 4 or 5, but, based on how much inspiration the show takes from the Uncharted video games, I think the final scene of the show will be John B and Sarah sitting down and telling the stories of their adventures to their daughter, and that's where John B's narration comes from.

  5. Look I love this show but when she shouted during that rainy scene I got angry in real life, the writers surely could have made a more believable reason why they lose their evidence

  6. Exactly!! Ward could've just looked in their general direction by happenstance and seen them before they ducked down, and it would've accomplished the same goal in the scene.

  7. I think that was an intentional bit a political commentary, showing that the Blue Lives Matter crowd will throw the police under the bus as soon as they are the target of the law.

  8. Definitely Cleo!! Her friendship/relationship with Pope was my favorite part of Season 3!!

  9. I actually prefer the love quadrilateral: Jack, Will, and Norrington battling to win over Davy Jones' heart.

  10. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I tried so hard to like this movie, but it just falls so flat for me. The story is fine and the new characters are quite likeable, but Jack just feels so off for the entire movie. Hans Zimmer's score was also greatly missed in this film. I really wish I could like it, but with Jack being the focus, he has to be done well, but he didn't feel like Jack to me.

  11. I'd also love to see a Young Avengers movie and a Midnight Suns movie in there somewhere before Secret Wars.
