  1. Makes me wonder if the other cases, when they get started, if they get started, will be so resistant to during-trial delays.

  2. Drive, first car chase. The 270 in the second was cool, but watching Gosling evade the police without having to burn rubber until the last second was awesome.

  3. My head-canon is that Drive is a continuation of Baby Driver. Where Baby lost Deborah somehow, and found work as a driver again. They allude to some past mixup with criminals, but never fully explain it.

  4. That's also the same 1 in the MSNBC column, and the Daily mail.

  5. Everyone's commenting on Fox, but like -- the Daily Mail? Yikes.

  6. It reads like someone that clearly loves Trump and far right media, but threw MSNBC in there to look "balanced".

  7. I mean, the goal here is to make a humanoid robots no? Humans can’t see through the back of their heads either.

  8. Humans also cannot stand up like that. Or turn their head and torso 360 degrees independently.

  9. Missouri is both "ope" and "y'all".

  10. But the OED uses a different philosophy than MW; it is diachronic not synchronic. Just because the OED has not yet recognized the usage doesn’t mean it isn’t common and recognized as appropriate by many people. Dictionaries will always behind the times for living languages.

  11. And yet they'll accept "literally" to be defined figuratively. Maybe I'm behind the times, but I'll die on that hill.

  12. People have been saying irregardless and trickle-down economics for longer than I've been alive. Doesn't make them right.

  13. Its the same thing for any sour candy. It wasnt that long ago that a lemonhead, sour strips or, especially, warheads would make your eyes water. Now its all kind of mild sourness for a second and slightly flavored HFCS.

  14. At first, I was wondering what they were going to do with the cheese. Disappointment at the first fold didn't last long.

  15. I do think they genuinely wanted to catch the car. Now that they caught it, they wish they didn't -- because now they know how unpopular their stance is.

  16. It aggravates me to see West Virginia in the South as well.

  17. Have you ever met anyone from WV? That dog's ass is more south that South Carolina.

  18. Helps me but I am still against it. I own a few businesses. Have made good money. I have moved from left to middle with a different perspective but I’m ok with paying my fair share. This will put a little more money in my pocket but the trade off isn’t worth it.

  19. Because you're close enough to reality to be within reach of the people that are made desperate and angry by these moves. The real benefit goes to those that can afford to insulate themselves from the proletariat. You're just the buffer level.

  20. Could you elaborate your comment? Assuming you are comfortable discussing and we are both open to changing opinions and positions if new information is relevant?

  21. The prices of the DLCs, though. FC3 has some value, with multiple plane modules, but most individual modules are wildly expensive.

  22. Well, it makes sense if you are really into flight sim. The models are full fidelity as opposed to FC3 which is low fidelity. All the buttons in the cockpit do something and can be used, and it's a lot more complex with better physics and all that.

  23. Sorry, but i dont think it ever makes sense to charge $80 for a single plane model. I know the devs put a lot into these, but I feel they could cast a wider net with more reasonable pricing. There's such a huge cliff between the FTP base game and any addition.

  24. Ah, so it's ok to take child sex-slaves... But only if they're demonic child sex slaves.

  25. A warning isn’t a ban. A ban is a ban.

  26. It shows up as a 0 day ban. Next is 24hrs.

  27. Like I said, a warning (which is what you received) is not a ban.

  28. My point is that they're taking action on seemingly every report with video evidence. Which is more than anyone seems to assume. Sure, it may take 3+ reports for someone to get significant bans, but I'd argue that's prudent, having been slapped for an out of context video myself.

  29. Clearly the symbol for "clarity".

  30. I'd put Riker as Gambit, and Data as Colossus.

  31. I didn't realize the Wachutus... Were biters!

  32. Marines don't call themselves former Marines. Suspect.

  33. That's not true. Once a Marine, Always a Marine is mostly PR. Feels weird to use current tense 20 yrs after separating.

  34. My 91-year-old great uncle got up to speak at my grandmother’s funeral last week. He told a story from 1951, shortly after he had returned from Korea. He prefaced it with “I’m a Marine…”

  35. That's fine. I didn't say nobody does, or should. I'm saying that it's incorrect to say former Marines never refer to themselves as such. Being a former Marine, myself.

  36. I bet some Congress-folks just randomly decided to sell a bunch of AAPL last week.

  37. I tend to start at the back and I work my way up the field.

  38. Somehow more brutal and simultaneously just as poorly applied.

  39. Should be a stack of Sprite, Pepsi, Q Club Soda, and Royal Crown.
