Yup exactly. I am a Warriors fan but not really a league fan as well and I think that is the case for a lot of people. Same with the All Blacks to a degree.
Less so with the abs, I think you have enough people in each city with a stadium to fill it up. Whether that’s Eden, FMG, RIS, cake tin, orange theory (and soon te kaha) or FBS. There isn’t very often an abs game isn’t sold out no matter where they play in nz
What are people talking about? If you want a functioning sports league you need ads, a smaller sport, like rugby in the states for example, requires ads everywhere to pay the players to play. It grows the game.

I just decided the bucks were my team and I’ve loved it since, people can call me a bandwagon but I joined not even knowing who was good and who wasn’t, and have stuck with them and will continue to stick with them.
Because unlike South Africa we don’t see our flag as a symbol of hate or oppression, people were treated unequally, but that wasn’t seen as a flag thing. People here use our flag to they use the flag of the united tribes/ Tino Rangatiratanga if they want to represent Maori more specifically otherwise, everyone considers it our flag and doesn’t see the need to change it
