  1. They're completely incompatible currently afaik. I'm sure they'll work on fixing it as soon as the other stuff is ironed out.

  2. Better than Wolves. It has a really great sense of progression and a lot of neat systems and mechanics, but the early game is reduced to a complete and utter slog for no real reason. So many BS changes that make the game harder for the sake of making it harder. It's apparently much better now after its spiteful egomaniac of a creator left, but it's still not a mod I want to touch with a 10 ft pole.

  3. One thing I love in modern BtW is the respawn mechanic, which works as an amazing compromise between hardcore and hard. On respawn, you're placed somewhere random in the same world so you get consequences for death but you haven't actually lost everything, and can stumble across old bases in the future.

  4. I’m going to go old school and say build craft or red power. I miss the days of every mod having different power sources and having to convert everything through vanilla mechanics. It led to some fun janky automation

  5. Honestly distant horizons is my favorite right now. I've always had PCs on the shittier end, and being able to actually appreciate a mountaintop view, or recognize a tower I built in the distance has made the game so much more enjoyable.

  6. Haha, glad you pointed that out! Funny coincidence :)

  7. Kjenner noen som bodde i Singapore lenge, og var sykt flau da hun fikk stygge blikk etter å ha plassert handlekurven på båndet her i Norge. Det er visst sånn man gjør det i butikkene der.

  8. Kan se de fra Blindern! Ser ut som de stoppet nettopp?

  9. How are you using a gif as your background?

  10. plasma should just be able to take a gif as an image background!

  11. Oh, nice! Good to know, I'm still familiarizing myself with the different desktop environments.

  12. Most of those were added more recently by the unicode consortium iirc

  13. a, pona mute! I always welcome more excuses to practise sitelen pona :)

  14. I really hate ready player one, and i don’t think it’s a great starting point for the genre because it’s pretty unique.

  15. Agree on all points. RP1 doesn't feel like litrpg to me, though it technically might fit the label.

  16. Many Euros are used to tiny grocery markets (akin to a 7-11 over here). They’re probably overwhelmed at the idea there’s more than one type of snack to choose from. And the example of a bread aisle is very true, some Euro groceries only have like 2 varieties of bread lmao.

  17. Where would they have styles like this? I live in Scandinavia rn and have found smaller stores, but not for a lack of large ones.

  18. Every other comment in this post is about Israel. My bad if you were thinking of a different state, though

  19. Not to defend the other guy, but you know the US has repeatedly set up coups to replace democratically elected leaders with fascists, right?

  20. I can def see how it wouldn't be considered pona. I'm still learning so atm it still makes sense to me to keep using oko, but i can imagine dropping it once I'm more familiar with phrasing things in toki pona.

  21. I mean it’s kill or be killed most of the time. If they lose they are dead. And if they escape by some „miracle“ it looks like plot armor most of the time. I think it’s pretty hard to write meaningful and believable losses and that’s the reason most authors don’t do it.

  22. I dont think you'd necessarily need a miracle to run away from a fight unless the opponent has higher dex and speed, or the environment prohibits it.

  23. I've never heard of a Fjellbekk, looked it up though and it sounds nice.

  24. more people would probably use þ if not for the unfortunate name

  25. The cool name is the only reason any of my non-linguist friends remember what it is lol. "Thorn" is really memorable! much more so than the sad-sounding "eth".

  26. Lmao how can you call Isekai LNs trash while also reading reincarnation stories from Royal Road?

  27. Why so rude? They were clearly joking.

  28. Wdym rude..? I could have been rude. I probably think he understood i did not intended anything rude.

  29. Ah, you meant it in a joking way? Its hard to convey that kind of sarcasm via text when people genuinely insulting each other is as common as it is on the internet lol
