  1. Omg it was so bad for me the first week I started panicking thinking I made the wrong decision. Honestly… I didn’t really do anything different except I just got used to it. So maybe give it a little bit more time for your body to get used to it. If that doesn’t sound feasible for you then return them

  2. Honestly for me it was a matter of acceptance. ASL is my second language if I don’t get it, I don’t get it. That doesn’t mean I didn’t work to improve , of course I wanted to improve. That comes with experience, having done a particular assignment before, knowing the client etc. you’ll also start to notice mistakes you make the more you make them then your muscle memory will kick in eventually.

  3. Okay. That makes sense that I am looking for the word because I am not confident in my vocab yet!! That is probably the step before better receptive skills. Yea Deaf can get frustrated but at the end of the day we are still buddies and we laugh and smile more often than that. I’m gonna keep watching Deaf.Tv and daily moth until I’m blue in the face!

  4. Oh and one more thing. Every deaf person signs differently and has had exposure to sign language at very different ages which impacts how they use the language. That’s one thing to notice and keep in mind!

  5. I can tell just by your post here as someone who is not in interpreting yet that you’re probably going to be just fine!

  6. Carlos life as a masseuse & each episode is a new client

  7. I used to do that, but my very last rewatched I ended the last episode on the last season and just started the pilot right after that.. I’ve rewatched the show a lot over the years, and it’s kinda like background noise and my comfort show (no shame lmao) but if it’s your first time rewatching you will still pick up on so many new things your second time around!

  8. This is what I do! Every time I finish i just start it right back over 😂

  9. Smoking listening to Album of the Year winner Midnights, great night to be a Swiftie!

  10. Coffee , it reminds me of one of my all time favorite songs (Linger by the cranberries) and it just feels so time less

  11. In my car I'll be the driver by Shania Twain

  12. Aesthetics are very important to you , you like thrift shopping

  13. Mid 20s, liberal, girl next door type that fits into multiple types of friend groups, I'd also say you were a theater kid in school.

  14. I should’ve been a theater kid. I did do a musical in my junior year of hs and got the lead role… so I guess that counts. I do have many diff friends and friend groups!

  15. You used to read a lot when you were younger and now you’re just getting back into reading and catching up on what you’ve missed?

  16. Feminist, but loves a good problematic classic, but would still probably get in an argument with a white man on a date about his favorite problematic classics

  17. Love this project so much! Deserves more attention

  18. You have a booktube channel? or at least a bookstagram/booktok

  19. Reader of a lot of different genres, you really like sad books, grew up on booktube which is why you have a taste for an abundance of genres!

  20. My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh 100% fits this. Main character truly does not give a shit about life and just basically says yeah ima go to sleep for a year. peace out!!! So good.

  21. Nevermoor- The Trials of Morrigan Crow series is VERYYY similar. It’s going to be a big series. It is geared toward a more younger audience and I’m not sure if it’s going to darken as the books go on.
