  1. They do to me too except he said it I had isolated thrombocytopenia 🤷‍♂️

  2. Who the hell knows. It didn’t help me any. I had a 3.8 all the way through college and no recognition at all. Just says magna cum laude at the bottom of my diploma. That’s all

  3. So my family and I were looking at sailing on icon. And we decided to stay at an all inclusive in Mexico and it’s cheaper than that cruise with airfare and alcohol included. It’s ridiculous. I hope Royal wakes up soon

  4. I just did that cruise with my family. It sucked. My first cruise ever. No plans on ever doing one again.

  5. Hi, I hope this doesn’t turn you away from cruising. Because what I experienced is not what Royal is at all.

  6. TLDR: it was too crowded and everything was rushed, not relaxing.

  7. Ahhh, so you weren’t the adult who shat all the way from the windjammer to the men’s restroom haha. You must have boarded at 11:00 am? This is a terrible time to board tbh I always go later because why rush? You’re on vacation! I will say getting on is way easier than getting off. That’s the real shit show. Also tipping is customary we never tip more than two dollars a bag. And he had no right saying that to you. If you remember them you can report them for sure. Honestly just follow the crowd, everyone’s going to the same place and that is to the ship lol. I hope this one experience didn’t turn you away from cruising. This is my 12th RC cruise and this is was the only one I’ve had a not so good experience on. I suggest you try out a smaller ship before you go on a large one like Oasis.

  8. I love how my taste in music coincides with where I go to school. Like Athens is so cultural I love it

  9. I never knew we weren’t allowed to take food out of the dining hall. I’ve literally taken it out since I started here. Oops 🙊

  10. Since you are early 20’s, I would say Carnival.

  12. Super interesting. I wonder if people living with ADHD are more drawn to medicine due to the caring aspect? Really cool article!

  13. Welcome to the club buddy ✊️ are you medicated for it? You know the biggest side effect you'll have from being medicated is rage... that you didn't do it earlier 😅

  14. Haha thanks, yeah I started medication this week actually. You’re right idk how I got this far in school. Probably could’ve gotten into med school the first go round instead of taking two gap years because I couldn’t study. But yeah the rage thing is crazy. That was a heavy reason I sought psychiatric care. I completely blew up on my mom for no reason and I didn’t like that. But thanks yeah I’m really enthusiastic to see how I perform in school now!

  15. It’s definitely going around again. I’m thanking my stars this variant wasn’t as bad. I didn’t even think I had it since I just got boosted a few weeks ago. I thought it was a terrible sinus infection but I kept running a fever for like a week and I thought that was sus. So I tested myself for flu and Covid and boom that’s what it was

  16. After 4 I’m done. But I’m also starting med school soon. I’d like to think Amazon made me grow some thick skin because my managers have been awful yet my coworkers are some amazing people.

  17. 5? I just got a $2000 sign on bonus when I started. I’m quitting after that. This place is BS even my area manager is looking for something else

  18. i worked in HR in the US but i’m not sure if holiday entitlement is the same as what we call vacation time? here, when you leave, regardless of if you quit or are terminated, you get your vacation time paid out to you in your last check. i just made sure i burnt out the rest of my personal time & sick time before i left since those hours are not paid out and just go away (which is BS imo).

  19. Hi, really quick. I plan to quit Amazon in the next few months. Since it’s holiday peak times will I still be paid my vacation time and my PTO?

  20. Yeah, I have never lived outside of being able to bike downtown and I feel like if I didn’t live midtown or downtown I wouldn’t bother living in Savannah at all. I do get that people want better schools for their kids but that is literally the only upside.

  21. I’m not a city person, so I live out on whitemarsh. It’s only about a 15 minute drive to downtown Savannah if I want to eat out or go to a bar or something. I like it! And yeah it’s a little bit cheaper out here and I have my own space. I wouldn’t want to be inches from my neighbor either.

  22. You probably should have externally applied for a management position.

  23. Yeah I agree. I didn’t know about the new Amazon in my area because I just moved here after college. This is my first job out of college and it’s sucks. I am going to talk to the hiring managers of those positions though, so wish me luck!

  24. Or kiss ass to leadership.. hardwork won’t get you further in amazon. All hard work does is give you more work to make up for the people that aren’t doing their job.

  25. Haha yep. I’ve already found that out the hard way while everyone else is twiddling their thumbs waiting for work I’m finding something else to do and my managers keep finding things for me to do. Which is why I need to move up because my pay is equal to my colleagues and I’m doing like twice the work they are 😅

  26. Honestly why are you still in Cali? That place sucks. Pollution, homelessness, expensive, and now I guess mask mandates again

  27. One of my two undergrad degrees was environment science (long story), so I feel like this moment in time is the worst possible timeliness for me personally to exist in lol. I HATE scientific illiteratacy masquerading as intelligence, like it just breaks my brain. I cant not point out the flaws, its seriously a compulsion (It may stem from a childhood filled with hardcore religious indoctrination andnoutright ignorance being fed to me as fact, when it is anything but). The current level of willful ignorance and gaslighting, people claiming things are "scientific fact" when they are VERY obviously not. All the usual climate denial, and general deep illiteracy that we are almost proud of in a wierd way. That was already keeping me in just a constant state of rage, especially as a parent with kids who have to live on this planet.

  28. Hi! I was an ecologist major in college and I 100% agree with everything you said! It’s ridiculous about how corporations can get by with anything. But we to agree that climate change is affecting the world and not just the US. We have to declare this a global crisis. I loved it when we were on lockdown two years ago. Not saying I loved the whole staying in part, but I loved how clean everything was and how dolphins were returning to waterways where they haven’t been seen for decades or in some cases centuries. It’s awesome. Also we see first hand at what good legislation can do. I forget the state, but due to some new law wolves are returning to their native area and I’m in awe. People sometimes forget but messing with an ecosystem undoubtedly affects climate change. So just by some new piece of legislation, we have mitigated climate change in some small butterfly effect type way.

  29. Eh as a graduated resident, now fellow and about to be attending I am just focused on making hay while the sun shines as I think most docs are.

  30. And midlevels will undoubtedly take over our jobs because it’s easier to pay them a smaller salary than it is to pay us.

  31. Aortic dissection. It can happen without any symptoms and chances are you won’t survive it

  32. Yes, do them. I didn’t do them my freshmen year and I couldn’t register for next semester.

  33. It’s charming, but outside of downtown, it looks like a dump. I traveled down Abercorn today and wow. If it’s not a corporate business/corporate restaurant, it’s a run down closed down business. This city used to be full of charm but I feel like it’s future is gonna be grim.
