  1. The amount of people saying it took them 20 years has made me feel much better

  2. When I started my career out of school in mid 90’s making 28k a year (which was really good) I never in a million years thought I would make over 100k let alone 200k plus but I do and it’s directly because of my 25 years of experience and looking out for myself and pushing for the next level and not just settling (which I did for the first 13 years before I realized the only one looking out for my career was me regardless of what the company said).

  3. New to Squatch and I’ve loved all three I have tried. Wood Barrel Bourbon, Fresh Falls and Bay Rum. I have loved them all—like I’m sad when they run out. If you put a gun to my head I’d say that Wood Barrel Bourbon is my favorite but they are all absolutely incredible. They make getting going in the morning almost a pleasure.

  4. This one. Without question. No other movie has made me think more or go deeper down a rabbit hole than this one. Nothing has since.

  5. I. Am. Dumb. I searched for “this one trailer” couldn’t find anything. I did find “the one” on Netflix looks good, not the jet li movie.

  6. There are lots of factors that need to be considered before upgrading beyond 1Gb. How are your drive pools arranged? Single HDD drive and you won’t see a benefit (figure 100-120MBps per drive) Running SSD (~500MBps) or NVME pool or single drive (3000MBps+). You absolutely will see a benefit.

  7. It’s not I just checked. We are still 1299 here

  8. I think some countries are dictating it. If you visit Mexico you’ll find that a regular Coke there has both HFCS and sucralose to reduce the sugar and calorie content (talking about cans not the glass bottles which are exported to US only apparently).

  9. I’ve always just played with family or friends/work tournaments but I’ve been enjoying the game so much and have seen so much improvement in my game since getting new equipment that I want to play more. As an introvert I’d prefer solo honestly.

  10. Yep this is exactly why I do it. Add in less traffic and I get home at 3-3:30pm and have more time with my family and waking up at 4:45-5am isn’t too bad. Not like I’m out partying and being social till midnight anyway.

  11. I’m Canadian, so often fly Air Canada (it’s an Aeroplan thing). Rarely ever pleasant.

  12. Parents travel all the time and always use US based airlines and their singular worst experience was with Air Canada.

  13. I don’t know how there’s a single person in this nation that can look at him, his history and say “hey that guy would be a good president”. Absolutely blows my mind.

  14. Tech sales, medical equipment, basically almost anything if you are a good salesmen. I know people who make easily more than 150k annually by selling pest control.

  15. It does seem like it. Every (unnecessary, imo) post about fast food burgers usually ends up talking about how great culvers is. Also, the honest-sounding reviews of their burgers here make them sound pretty boring.

  16. Totally agree. The one in my city sucks absolute ass and a burger from almost any other restaurant is better. I saw a post the other day stating Culver’s is better than in-n-out and I threw up in my mouth.

  17. Don’t care for it at all. Switched over to Tide with Oxy pods and found my clothes far cleaner and better smelling (esp when left in the wash for a few extra hours).

  18. Call it a "burp" and hope it doesn't happen again.

  19. I’ve got all my fingers and toes crossed that’s the case. Proactively ordering replacement SSD in case (I’m running 6x4TB SSD).

  20. If I'd known you were running SSD drives, I'd have suggested checking the mounting screws were tight. If they were al all loose, over time and vibration from somewhere , they might work loose ( A long shot, I know ) . LOL

  21. Oh nice—hadn’t looked at that. I did pull them completely and the one I did look at (I don’t think it was disk 5/6). Thanks again.

  22. I gave too much loyalty to my first company out of college and stayed there for 13 years when I should have moved on and gotten paid more. It was a great learning experience however.

  23. There’s no comeback. Someone that would have the gall to say that isn’t worth your time or even wasting breath on.

  24. Avocado AND grilled onions?? I’m in—I’ve seen them all over my city but can’t recall ever stopping.

  25. I turned down an offer to move from around $112k to $130k because I knew the place would suck the life out of me and my current gig is decent. If it was $150k though let alone $224k I would have figured out how to deal with it. There's definitely a point where even a decent percentage of increase isn't worth it but 50%+ I'll deal with it long enough to turn it into a better spot somewhere else.

  26. I took a 21k paycut to move to another city where I could afford a home (not moving out of California). They paid for relocation so it worked out and I love the company and the role. Best decision I’ve made.

  27. I’ve never wished for death for anyone but I can say with certainty that I would do a happy dance if she exited stage left.

  28. The most played games by my tweens to almost college age kids are Mario Kart, Mario Party and Luigi’s Mansion.

  29. Like why not do the same day starting at 5:30 and ending at 10:30pm
