Seriously speaking. How old are you ? As a resident, I’ve been hit on by nurses who were inappropriate (age-wise, marital status wise). With respect to attraction, male residents are no different than males everywhere, if you are an attractive nurse who is mentally stable, able to carry out life’s tasks, not outsource your mental, emotional or financial well being to another human, you will have no trouble finding a man. There tricks to find someone appropriate for you who you are attracted to.
I’ll give you a serious answer. I have no problems attracting men, but I have been dumped by a resident and an RN for not putting out (as I suspected that was their only goal).

Women do not take issue with being approached (usually).They do take an issue with (men) not taking rejection personally or even taking it at all.
Women tend to be naturally kind and compliant in general when being approached because they know rejection can lead to a violent reaction. It's extremely common.
Your grief, anger, sense of injustice and finally, the sense of being used is valid. Completely valid and justified. Acknowledge them, recognize them and do not suppress them or talk will act out. You are ONLY 40. Time to work out and get that body that a 20 year old would look at and think ‘I hope I’m like that at 40!’, exercise your emotional muscle too (you will want a therapist for this) with someone who validates and challenges your preconceived notions and gets to the bottom of why you have them. Finally, do not outsource your emotional, mental, spiritual, financial or physical well being to anyone. He married his mistress and improved his life. It’s a daunting challenge but imagine what he would think if you became complete without him.
I am in the same boat. It’s been 4 months post breakup. Been in NC for 3. She has moved on. She has found someone else and accelerated that relationship very fast. They got engaged a few weeks after meeting. I’m not concerned about that as much as why I cannot seem to let go. Time and space will make me love on but letting go is still not happening.
Yes this was Masjid Taneem. You can easily save a taxi trip though by changing into ihraam on the plane. Any reason why you aren't going ahead and doing that? There are also many people who will change into ihraam right before boarding. Especially if you're on an Arabic airline, they'll announce well in advance the miqaat point, and many airlines have it marked clearly on the inflight map. And if you are flying on Saudia, there is a dedicated prayer section in the back of the plane.
Taxi questions. I plan to fly into Jeddah & head to Mecca directly without ihram. I would like to take a taxi from the hotel to masjid taneem to change into ihram. In your post you mention that you took multiple round trips to miqaat. Was this at masjid taneem? If yes, is my understanding correct ? Can you fly into Jeddah, head to Mecca, take a taxi to change into ihram at masjid taneem and head back to Mecca for umrah ??
If you’re a US citizen why would you get an umrah visa when you get so much more flexibility with a tourist visa? Check out my post about my experience from May.

Im not a scholar but scholars have said that you have to change into ihram at meeqat before entering jeddah otherwise you have broken ihram rules
