I'm just commenting to follow this thread. I have the same exact iMac and haven't found much help learning about troubleshooting or fixes. I'm thinking it needs a new hard drive, so your question might help. Thanks in advance, too!
I'm gonna be completely honest, it's my first & only mac. All I know is the dude I bought it from upgraded to 16g of ram and patched Mojave. It started having issues like not booting passed apple logo or the triple beep. I removed the faulty ram and it booted... but now I'm stuck at a login screen with only a padlock icon and a blank text box. π
Yeah of course! Assuming you dye with procion (or any natural fiber reactive dyes) don't worry much about getting dye on vinyl or screen print. The dyes don't bond with synthetic materials, but will bond with the fabric beneath the vinyl and still be visible. Keep in mind for white or light color vinyl, if the vinyl is thin, on white or light colored shirts. and even reverse dyes if the color was removed behind the vinyl.
Thanks for all that information, I'll screenshot and add to my tie dye folder. And I'll tag you if I remember, I've followed you ππΌ. Great work btw
I would've never thought to put those two together. Chartreuse is one of my all time favorites. Looks amazing! Love the ink blot look. It turned out awesome!

For sure. Are you running the original hard drive? I upgraded to a SSD about 4 years ago. Also added 8g of ram. That sped it up enormously.

Thank you! I didn't think they would look as good together as they do! I was just bored on day and decided to experiment. Glad I did!
I use sodium alginate to thicken the water
when I use sodium alginate I can't get the saturation needed. I guess I need to find some balance?
Iβm having the same problem. Need the right balance between alginate and calsolene, Iβm thinking
It doesnt look like youre having that problem! haha this shirt looks great! btw, i've never tried calsolene. maybe that's what i'm missing. thanks!
