Honestly I was pretty disappointed after loving his previous albums. Be the wheel is a genius song, easily top 5 best written songs in vulf sphere ,but the rest kinda fell flat for me personally

Agree with this. Heartbreak Hits and Modern Johnny are both stronger all around. A few good songs on Be the Wheel (including the title track, which is beautiful), but the album overall didn't resonate as strongly with me as the others.

I think the Blue Bombers are a better "regular" team in the sense that they play consistently better than most team in the CFL. The Als just had the edge a that moment. Somehow, I think the Als just wanted it more.

I doubt they "wanted" it more, but no doubt that the Als had the edge that game.
