“Premise” is probably a better word than “point,” but yes. I haven’t watched every episode, but are there other episodes that are linked to each other? Or would this be the first?
Some episodes are implied to be set in the same universe and there is a crossover with technology that’s featured but it’s very subtle, but from memory no two episodes stories have been directly connected
I never understood why people want comedians to host these shows. Would rather have a decent tv presenter who knows how to keep the show entertaining and moving along. That being said, I live in the UK and we have a few go to presenters for things like this, no idea who the US equivalent would be
I watched the child prostitute movie a couple of years ago (pretty baby? I don't care to look it up). It was jaw dropping. Walked away wondering what the fuck I just watched and how hundreds of people decided that this project was fine and should proceed. Props to Brooke - for all of her alleged naivete, she has proved to be an extraordinarily resilient person.
I haven’t seen the film but I watched Brookes documentary Pretty Baby recently and hearing about her experience was enough to make me not want to watch it ever, I’d likely have the same reaction as you did. She has a discussion about it with her daughters in the doc which is pretty interesting
I think if you’re going to use influencers then they should probably have some decent training beforehand so interviews aren’t awkward/unwatchable. Some are naturally good and engaging enough but it’s obvious when some have been hired just for their followers
I really want one of those LED face masks, the one I was looking at costs around £300 but apparently make a difference if you’ve got any redness/uneven texture on your face. You might’ve sold me on the Velvetiser though
Sounds like my neighbours. They are also always home as well, I have no idea what they are doing but it sometimes sounds like an elephant stampede down there.
Have had my conch for 3 months now. Found it to be my least painful piercing. It’s healed quite well but it did have a little irritation bump and some weeping for first month which I put down to me being a side sleeper or sometimes knocking it by accident but it was nothing that couldn’t be solved by cleaning regularly and having some patience.
This is the first winter I’ve not had a cold that makes me bedridden so feeling pretty grateful for that but I have had every jag known to man in the last year
I’m kinda disappointed in Margot Robbie not getting an acting nom. I think comedic performances get overlooked quite a lot. That said, still hoping for a Lily Gladstone win!
I remember Leo being announced/rumoured to play Sinatra like 10 or 15 years ago and nothing came of it

Glad to see Micheal Ward in particular getting bigger roles. Outstanding actor, blue story was a fantastic film.
I haven’t seen Blue Story but he was one of the best parts of Top Boy so excited for him in this!
