Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom. It's a mix between Mario64, Crazy Taxi, and Banjo Kazooie. It has a built in optional crt filter that really gives it that retro feeling. Perfect pick up and go kind of game.

Everyone saying to not use lock on is speaking truth. It's just as important to pay attention to the environment around you and you need a free camera for that. It won't take too long to get used to.
There are some EXCELLENT story driven games that take 10 hours or less. Maybe look into some these. Soma and Hellblade come to mind right off the bat. I get it though. Long open worlds are exhausting.
Oooh...dark souls could be intriguing. Just have massive castle "biomes" (and of course a poison swamp). Those games are so focused on the 1 on 1 dance so it would be interesting to see bosses reworked for group combat. The environmental aspect could get wacky too. Like imagine a boss just chasing you through Sen's Fortress and you are trying to get it to trigger traps or even vice versa.
Fair point ha. I just mean this game got no advertisement, was full price and had an awful name. I can't believe Square didn't know how good a game they had here. Wasn't this made by the FF Tactics team? They could have hyped this so much and they just did no publicity for it.

Yeah but you know what isn't niche? Final Fantasy nastolgia. If you put out a game and just say "spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics" the people will buy it. Give it a FFXIV collab and call it a day.
Really a perfect game to get someone comfortable with a controller. I played this with my partner who had never played a video game before and we had a great time.
If you have Kjarr weapons from KT those can be upgraded to rarity 12 and are super good late game when you start augmenting them. Otherwise yeah it's all trash but hey at least you probably have some cool layered armor!
Element up all the way. It may be the difference for the extra EKO which means more damage. I go element up II with health regen then the extra 50 points of element for the 5 available element custom upgrades then max out ice/fire attack on the build as well.
I bounced off Rise 2 years ago. Then after the Wilds reveal and the Return to World campaign I figured I would give monhun one more shot. I'm now 250 hours in, no end in sight, and this is likely my favorite game ever. It's phenomenal.
I started a couple months ago. I have almost 200 hours now. I've always been able to find people to play with pretty much instantly. The game is worth it's price but is usually on sale for dirt cheap. It's all wins baby.
I think you get the tickets from the "Beef is Never a Mi-Steak" event quest, and one of my favorite layered event gear is probably the Guild Palace set and weapons

This is a normal setting? Good to know that is possible! I have the same size monitor but thought I wouldn't be able to use all that space.

MH refuses to include straight up magic in its games, so I want another hunting series to pop up that is solely dedicated to it.
That sounds incredibly fun and incredibly hard to balance haha. Makes me excited for Dragons Dogma 2 actually.

Boot up Rocket League while drunk. The sheer amount of grief you get for playing bad will have you rolling.

Dang. This is the opposite advice the others gave me ha. Ok. Good thing it's pretty low commitment since you get your mats back if you want to change.

Dark Souls 3 was too iterative for me to enjoy and I liked 2 more.
