The Liber Mechanicum FAQ mentions that you can make all your attacks using a servo arm, so there's no reason to not treat it as a normal weapon. This is not mentioned in the Liber Astartes/Hereticus FAQs, but why would it be any different?

It's kind of the problem with trying to move the story forward the end result has to be "always war" to continue to sell models and stories.
AoS proved it entirely possible to knock one of the big 4 out without getting rid of a bunch of factions and models, Slaanesh doesn't need to die necessarily, just her being Injured and losing her stranglehold on Aeldari Souls -alongside the return of certain Aeldari gods- would be more than enough to progress the story, give the Aeldari a win (as well as pull them out of the always-on-the-brink-of-extinction story) without changing the Always War nature of the setting
Couldn't the forever war continue even with the Aeldari being more powerful? I think the problem with this would be the elimination of one of the four Chaos gods and, as a consequence, their various related units.
