It’s not recommended to eat fish with high mercury like certain tuna, sword fish, and shark. It’s actually harmful to put fear in women over all seafood/shellfish as a whole because most actually has amazing health benefits and nutrients during pregnancy. I’m currently about to give birth and have had an amazing healthy pregnancy and ate all the seafood to my heart desires. I didn’t ask about advice on what I could eat with pregnancy, I asked if this canned oysters looked normal because I wasn’t sure if it was the butter and garlic that made it look like that. (Spoiler alert: it was normal)

My husbands buddy has been doing this to me since we first told them I was pregnant, except he will literally bend down touch and talk to my belly! I hate it… but I feel too awkward to say anything
I’ve only heard of women drinking a glass of wine during labor to help with the pain… but to just drink during the third trimester is wild to me, why take any risks?
