  1. Fourscore is a great spot for lunch and has nice outdoor seating. They make some very decent beer. If you like sweet slushy type beers you might really enjoy it, but there is something for everyone and everything is typically at least ok. ABC is a brewpub chain, so think an elevated version of Applebees with mostly forgettable beers. Nice space, though.

  2. Amazing. So if Fil slides into RW1 where does Roslovic go? Is he a scratch?

  3. Roslovic bumped to the 3rd, Cuylle bumped to the 4th and Brodzinsky/Rempe scratched would be my choice

  4. Think is the route they take. If they need more size then Cuylle moves back up, Rempe dresses and Roslovic probably sits. Regardless, this is impressive depth and a good problem to have.

  5. Yankees fan. I loved Mo Vaughn and always wished he was a Yankee.

  6. Panarin signed the 9 on someone’s Zibanejad jersey

  7. The guy who got Panarin had all sorts of shit for him to sign. I saw a hat, puck, and even the cue card that said Panarin #10 😂

  8. More Info: I know he was originally conscripted into the confederacy as part of the 29th Tennessee Calvary, but found a way to leave and join the Union as part of the 13th Volunteer Tennessee Calvary, company K. He is my 4th great grandfather and the photo used to be in a museum, but was recently given back to me. I would love to know more about his story.

  9. I am glad you got this photo back within your family, it rarely happens once they change hands. Believe it or not I handle historic photos professionally and would be happy to share some thoughts on care and value as a courtesy if you’re not already familiar. Shoot me a message if so.

  10. So Panarin got his feelings hurt and then decided to disappear in the playoffs ? Come on. You signed that contract to be “the guy”. He wasn’t “the guy”. End of story. I don’t care what Gallant said. We all said the same things about him on this very platform.

  11. Wow, former NHL head coach Gerard Gallant in our very own sub!

  12. Hopefully Hurricane Jake Paul gets a Pizza Hut commercial out of the deal

  13. I would like to thank my dad for insisting that I become a rangers fan even though we lived 10 minutes from nassau coliseum. As the old man used to say, fuck the islanders

  14. 911 I’d like to report an erection lasting over four hours

  15. Egos. Some would rather be right than succeed

  16. There is absolutely no chance the Rangers brought him over to have him fully practice with the team without also believing he could play in the playoffs. None. Any other reason would be such a silly unforced distraction. This was all an LTIR scam and I’m extremely here for it.

  17. How was it a LTIR scam? The dudes been out all year. That's quite literally what LTIR is for lol

  18. I’m saying that the team took full advantage of the current state of LTIR rules to bolster their playoff lineup. It’s not a literal scam, I’m being tongue in cheek, but you’d be naive to think the timing of this is all some innocent coincidence.

  19. Roslovic is a fucking dud and I’m done even having to look at him on the ice for the Rangers. Duclair was such a better option, it’s insane.

  20. Would love to know if he was a last second Plan B or Plan C, because if he was Plan A all along…huge yikes. The Buchnevich trade continues to haunt Chris Drury

  21. It’s honesty hard to understand what he brings to the table anymore.

  22. What part of this last week or two of hockey is the “2023 isn’t going to happen again” mentality we’ve heard so much about

  23. Seen a few comments in here suggesting this game is meaningless. Very hard to understand this point of view, especially with seeding still up in the air. More importantly is there any evidence at all that deliberately coasting into the playoffs to save some energy/not get hurt is a plan that sets a team up for success?

  24. I could maybe understand if the Flyers were playing like their lives depended on it, but they aren’t. Instead what we are seeing is a slow, physically disengaged team who seems to think priority number one is resting/not getting hurt. It’s pure arrogance and it’s as much on the coach as it is on the players

  25. Back in January we were told he aggravated his concussion symptoms right after he first started skating with the team again. The Rangers wouldn’t want any chance of a repeat of that situation, especially since it’s playoff time and the team doesn’t need distractions like accusations of mismanaging a head injury. IMO the fact that he’s back and has a locker again has to mean he’s been skating and feeling great for a while now and the team has full confidence he’s healed, which is wonderful. Unlikely it means more, but the fact that he’s even in New York given the implications of the timing is a big deal and I’m not sure we can write off anything.

  26. The gap between MSG prices and prices at other NHL arenas is wild. Last year you could buy a pair of decent tickets to a freaking game 7 for about $400. The NYC market is just hugely different than almost everywhere else.

  27. If that's the Islanders game plan for the playoffs, they're gonna get fucking smoked.

  28. They full out stink. Credit to them for jumping in front of dozens of shots. Its their only hope but it sure as shit won’t win you a playoff series

  29. The huge red flag was Miami dumping the reigning MVP for such a cheap price. They had new ownership and correctly identified that Stanton had a big dumb contract that would hamstring them in both the short and long term. The Yankees took the bait, ignoring the hugely obvious downside risk in a clumsy attempt to save money on a big hitter in the short term. He was too expensive regardless of the purchase price.

  30. We are easily the most blessed franchise in NHL history when it comes to goalies

  31. Absolutely blessed. Start counting the number of guys the Devils have tried back there just since 2020, it’s like 20 already.

  32. Amtrak Police routinely kick railfans off the train. “Show me your business purpose” they say and if all the railfan can manage is “uh I enjoy the journey” they’re booted at the next stop. I’m personally grateful for this as I spend my entire trip being productive and really that is the only reason anyone should ever be sold a train ticket.
